This week Firefly Aerospace signed a deal with Northrop Grumman to replace the first stage of the Antares rocket with the first stage of Firefly Beta, this will eliminate the dependence on Russian engines and bring the manufacturing of the major structural parts into the US.

I can understand the need to use domestic rocket engines instead of Russian engines but to name the replacements “Beta Boosters” is so lame.
It’s not been a good year for boosters.
Oh yeah, I remember now. I really liked that one gal who was a "comfort" girl. IIRC, it has something to do with a Chinese takeover in the distant future...and the wars that followed.

Biden’s boosters have had a great year (so far).
More literally, it’s been a great year for SpaceX Falcon 9 boosters.
Gotta have a nerd-bait gal like that in sci-fi shows.
Not so much for the Covid boosters.
Heh... one of my coworkers has relapsed (tested positive after symptoms) at least twice and has had all her boosters like a good girl and took that alleged antiviral med that President Poopypants took.
