At breakfast with a friend, I saw an article on acupuncture and carpal tunnel.
My friend wanted to wait until retired for the C-T surgery and looked awful most days, from lack of sleep.
He read the article and said he hated needles but would give it a try.
A week later he looked much better and said he was sleeping, also they told him it would take a few weeks for the full effect and it would wear off after a year or so.
A month later he was a new man!
YES, IT WORKS.

I don’t have any back pain, but I’ve had acupuncture around 10 or so times.
Every time I pass out…

I had a slipped intervertebral disc impinging on a nerve. Severe pain radiated down my left leg. The disc was surgically repaired, but the pain persisted. The surgeon explained that the nerve was damaged and would eventually heal, but that the pain could persist for up to nine months.
I went to an excellent acupuncturist. After three sessions, the pain went away completely and never returned.

I had Bell’s palsy about ten years ago, was told by Dr it would take a year; two weeks’ worth of acupuncture and it was gone.

Yes, it worked and works for me.
Some people just can’t take it, however.

What nonsense. Probably felt relief simply by lying on their side for 15 minutes.

Tried it for pain- it did nothing. Tylenol actually worked better than acupuncture.

I suffered from Achilles tendinitis. PT in U.S. had no effect. I traveled to China for work. Five acupuncture treatments totally cured me.

Of course it works. That’s why the AMA and FDA attack it.
