The crap that we are dealing with today (socialism, woke culture, freeloaders, welfare state) all emanated from the “enlightened” renaissance period that was the 60s.
It was a magical period but the detritus from that era is toxic.

Not really. PF was pretty much Waters, especially from Dark Side on, until he left. He pretty much wrote everything and came up with the concepts, the other three were basically studio musicians.

Waters is a prick. Gilmour is not. Waters wrote great lyrics. Gilmour was the better talent playing music. Waters music on its own is not very appealing and some is quite boring. Neither was really outstanding without the other. If on an island I would have to go with Gilmours guitar before Rogers voice / lyrics. My $0.02
