Nikki Haley Is Not A Natural Born Citizen of USA To Constitutional Standards – Not Eligible To Be President - The Post & Email

Nikki Haley fails the three legged stool test!

(Jan. 30, 2023) — Both of Nikki Haley’s parents were not U.S. Citizens when Nikki was born. Nikki Haley was born to a Citizen of India father (minus one stool leg) and to a Citizen of India mother (minus the 2nd stool leg).

The normal path to becoming a naturalized U.S. Citizen takes five years. Nikki Haley was born in 1972 . Her father and mother emigrated from India to Canada and then to the USA in 1969. Thus there was not sufficient time for either of Nikki’s parents to become naturalized U.S. Citizens when Nikki was born in 1972. It is not known at this time to this writer if Nikki’s father and mother ever became naturalized U.S. Citizens. Nikki Haley is not being very transparent on this issue. Even if one or both of her parents did naturalize later after Nikki Haley was born, it would not change Nikki’s birth status. Given Nikki Haley’s year of birth in 1972, and her parents immigration year of 1969 to the USA, she was thus born in the USA to two foreign nationals and thus inherited their respective birth nation’s citizenship when she was born, in addition to being a basic Citizen by being born in the USA to aliens legally domiciled here. Thus Nikki Haley was born with citizenship and required national allegiance at birth to two countries. This is hardly what the founders and framers intended when they selected the “natural born Citizen” requirement for the person who would in the future be permitted to be the President and Commander in Chief of our military, once the founding generation was gone. ... continue reading here: https://www.thepostemail.com/2023/01/30/nikki-haley-is-not-a-natural-born-citizen-of-usa-to-constitutional-standards-not-eligible-to-be-president/

There is not, and there never has been, a requirement or understanding that a person born in the United States to noncitizen parents is not “natural born”.

Both of my grandfathers were born in the US to non-citizen parents. On their WWI draft cards, there were three and only three options for the draft board to designate citizen status “natural born”, “Naturalized”, and “alien” - both of them were designated “natural born” by draft boards in Brooklyn NY and Meriden CT.

And consider the absurd result were this wrong. Neither were naturalized. Therefore, my father, born to aliens and not himself naturalized, would not have received his US Navy commission in 1941. I would have been born to aliens in 1950 (my grandmothers were also born in the US to noncitizens and my mother was never naturalized), and since I have never been naturalized and don’t have a green card, I shouldn’t be working and shouldn’t have a US passport.

The whole thing is just absurd.

This was the common understanding in 1917, and it was the common understanding in 2007 90 years later.

This never would have surfaced without the (understandable) wish to deny Obama the Presidency.

Bringing it up over the ridiculous Nimrata Randhawa Haley, who has zero chance of national office, is just a waste of time.

In the days of the founders being born to US citizen parents meant born with sole allegiance to America.

Based on recent and past histories, he could be.

Despite the clear and very unclear Constitutional language, despite the 14th Amendment and despite the hundreds of legal opinions and challenges regarding NBC, one thing is very clear.

No court will decide either way.

Arnold for President! (sarc)

You need to read up on the definition of “natural born citizen”. A natural born citizen is one who cannot have citizenship rights in any other country at birth. That is why both parents need to be citizens. This was to prevent anyone from the Presidency that had allegiance to another country. If you think of yourself as a hyphenated American, then you are not natural born.

(She was born on US soil. She is a citizen by birth. Her parents status does not negate that fact...being that she is natural born.,)

A citizen and an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen are not the same thing. Haley doesn’t qualify.

Clinton’s mom had a solid, well-paying job, Nurse anesthetist with an average pay today of 120 to 220 thousand per year, 180-240 if certified.

Says nothing about ‘natural born citizenship’. One can be a us citizen and still not be a ‘natural born US citizen. I will note like the devil courted Eve in the garden the players that wrote this left out the difference in ‘natural born’ citizenship, and citizenship attained from having been born on US soil….

John McCain was born in Panama, to parents who were not a citizen of that country. Therefore he must have been a Panamanian citizen?

She’s a citizen via the 14 amendment but not an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen via the constitution which is required for the presidency.

She’s a statutory Citizen. A statute doesn’t make a natural born Citizen.

‘Natural born’ is implicit. You obviously aren’t a ‘natural born’ US Citizen if you are born to two citizens of Brunei in the UK.

Thanks for posting that.

That’s what I was taught 60+years ago in Junior High history class, and again some years later at the Military Academy I attended.

Sadly, so few people even among ‘conservatives’ seem to be able to grasp the law, much less ‘Founders Intent’ on this topic.

This is a good website explaining “Natural Born Citizen” further:
http://www.usnaturalborncitizen.com/index.html

Although I often feel silly for thinking that the Constitution actually means anything to the Republican Party, much less the Democrats.

That would make her a statutory Citizen. A statutory Citizen is not a natural born Citizen. Citizen and natural born Citizen are not the thing.

Well, like they say the devil is in the details. And just like the devil courted Eve, same mentality over time has neutralized the founders intent with their natural born clause to hold the office of president.. carry on. Devolution is nigh complete.

That’s the point I was making, with the caveat that the sort of citizenship (native vs. natural) conveyed in Amendment 14 has never been clearly defined by SCOTUS: We just pretend to know what it means. That’s the loophole the Obamas and Harris’s of the world are driving through.

NBC = NoBody Cares

Certainly nobody with the title judge/justice.

But that doesn’t stop the NBC knitting circle from gathering every 4 years.
