With the results of a recent poll indicating 74% of Americans no longer trust the mainstream media, analysts were greatly troubled by the fact that an alarming 26% of people still trust what the media tells them.
"It really is frightening," said Micah Schmidt, lead research analyst for Gallup. "It beggars belief that one out of four Americans still trust the journalists who have done nothing but tear the country apart with a steady diet of lies and hatred. We are either far dumber - or far crazier - than anyone could have imagined."
To push the envelope even further, Schmidt said the team also polled a sample of the American public on a variety of other topics. "In addition to 26% of people in this country still believing the media, we subsequently found out that a similar number — 24% — believe that the Easter Bunny is not only real but that he is a lead advisor to President Biden. We also found that 28% of Americans still believe weapons of mass destruction will be found in Iraq, some two decades after the war. Most frighteningly, a whopping 72% of American women find Adam Driver attractive, which chills me to the bone."

Actually it is FAR HIGHER. Ask Americans if they still think Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia, or that the Russian invasion of Ukraine was ‘unprovoked’...and you’ll see that the media is still VERY EFFECTIVE in pushing the Leftist Agenda.

As far as the media was concerned, I was a lunatic, drug addicted, baby killing, fascist pig. I don’t remember running into people like that during my three campaigns in Vietnam. Then years later, Thomas Moorer who was my CNO during much of my time on active duty, appeared on the PBS New Hour and pointed out the contempt with which he was regard by Jim Lear who used him as a prop for his agenda.
At that point, I decided media could be a source of disinformation, much as a department within a directory of the KGP. In recent years I have come to regard all media sources as evil and not simply misguided.
Of course the big bunny is real! There were photos! I found it reassuring to know that the bunny was there to provide at least some competence to the Biden administration.
That will double a week from now.

My story is that my draft number was 17. I awaited proceedings. As directed, I reported for my physical and waited to be called up. The draft was abolished.
I remember my mother telling me that immediately after North and South Vietnam were partitioned, people were allowed to migrate. Something like 200,000 left North Vietnam for South Vietnam. About 10,000 went north.
I was perplexed that Nixon received so much flak for bombing supply lines in Cambodia.
Only decades later did I conclude that Nixon not only “brought the troops home with honor,” he also won the war. A post-Watergate Democratic congress then abandoned South Vietnam. That was the dishonor of the Vietnam war.
Hollywood almost always treats WW2 as the good war and Vietnam as a bad war. I think it all has to do with communism. In WWII we saved the Soviet Union and international communism. In Vietnam we fought the communists.
The press leans hard to the left. Most Americans seem oblivious to that fact. The press might as well be another bureau of the KGB.
