We’re starting to see the fruits of this in my well-established suburban neighborhood. They’re working on a couple, new high-density apartment complexes which are completely out-of-character for our region. The locals are not impressed.
But, let’s be clear. The real motive behind this is to flip the area in favor of Dems. They need to spread the poison around. It’s possible that within a few years my community, which has always been reliably conservative, will soon be voting for leftists.
It’s the law here in CA. Local City Councils no longer have a say. And if they DO say no, they’ll be sued by ‘Housing Advocates’.
According to the leftists, a principal benefit is the disadvantaged minorities will have role models. They will be inspired to work like their affluent neighbors to get luxury items. Actually, they will see this as a great opportunity to steal while their neighbors are at work.
The ComDem’s have a pact with the Cartels. And the Cartels have even bought/bribed Prosecutors and Judges. In the case of Arizona? The Secretary of State and or the current Governor.
The Cartels place a drug dealer in a small town, buy off the local law enforcement, use the druggies they sell to as Zombies to seal everything that has value.
That is happening now. It has been for almost 10 years in some places.
Imagine the impact under the current huge border invasion.

Our mayor has started this crap in my little city. There’s no space but the commie and his minions want to build apartments, duplexes, approve ADUs which people are pissed about. The SOB brought in folks from Portland to help with his study. In the meantime, the small post WWII homes are being snatched up, razed, and new McMansions are being built with costs of 1-2 million.

Allowing low carbon consumers into a high carbon consumption nation will not help the Climate Change agenda.... using land in the countryside for high rises means less space for Wind Mills and solar cell farms... plus more demand for electricity, so the question becomes why allow millions in when it does not benefit anyone, well at least the vast major of Americans.
