Another tragic death which appears similar to the one back in December 2022 at Montgomery Regional Airport in Alabama. Training, procedures, new staff, higher workload due to fewer staff?

Looks like it was an Airbus A319. LAX to SAT.

This keeps happening. One must always stay away from aircraft engines.

Suicide? Maybe thinking it would be a very quick death. Head first it certainly would.

If you are standing, or walking around the engine, of course you will go in head first.

This keeps happening. One must always stay away from aircraft engines.I'm surprised engine runup guards haven't already been mandated. They'll add costs, sure, will require new procedures, and add risks of nacelle damage, but it appears the industry is at this point.

The painted spiral exists for a reason - so a ground crew member can tell if the engine is running.

This keeps happening. One must always stay away from aircraft engines. Yes, wasn’t there a similar incident just two or three weeks ago? Sad.
