First time in 70 years I am experiencing no fireworks on July 4 in America. This is Tampa, FL. It is very quiet.

So why aren’t you setting off fireworks? Really, you want em, you do em. That’s how life works.

In church this past Sunday, I couldn’t help but notice that most of the women were wearing black, or blank and white prints. Even one whose dress had white stars and faded stripes — the fabric’s print was all shades of gray.
There was no memo sent around and no conspiracy — just the way people felt.

It is quiet here north of Charlotte.
I don’t think folks are very happy with their Govt.

Here in Florida, north of the City of Lakeland, we usually have not stop fireworks from the 2nd through the 4th. This year I heard a few on the 2nd and 3rd and tonight I don’t hear as many as usual.
I think that because of the dreadful Biden economy that people do not have the money to buy a lot of fireworks.

NE Texas, Sherman/Denison area: Rain yesterday makes for
firework conditions last night and this evening. Lots of bangs and booms, not to mention the beautiful sparklers.
Celebrate, stay safe!

My kids, when they were young, always wanted me to buy fireworks. Now they are working, they don’t spend any money on fireworks.

Having fire works all over in my area.
Maybe it is just you.

We’ve been surrounded by non-stop booms for a couple hours. Still going on. (eastern TN). I love it!

Makes me proud!

Was just asking my wife about how quiet it is compared to a few years back. She said everybody had to work tomorrow. Never stopped people before. People used to go into debt to buy fireworks around here. Lol. Things have changed.
To: glimmerman70
Fireworks money went for food and gas.
I find this very obvious.
