These microscopic creatures can survive in the vacuum of space, inside a volcano, and in an Antarctic lake nearly a mile underground...So when an Israeli spacecraft carrying a horde of hibernating tardigrades crashed on the moon in April 2019 because of a computer glitch, scientists thought the animals would surely have survived...Scientists found these creatures couldn't survive speeds above 2,000 mph when shot out of a gun...

New way of eating ze bugs.
“Scientists found these creatures couldn’t survive speeds above 2,000 mph when shot out of a gun”
What kind of “Science” is this?
Medical “scientists” who are so-called “doctors” now cut off the genitals of teenagers, in order to “find” if the remaining assembly is a “man” or a “woman.”
In some areas of the U.S.A., “progressives” call that “love.”
I call it a crime against humanity.
There are actually several valid scientific proposals to send tardigrades into space to see how they are affected by long term space travel.
Sounds like Redneck Science
How bout shooting a Rat out of cannon?
Sounds like something Dr. Nefario would do.
I thought this was going to be a Monte Python skit
New, “Tardigrade crispies!”
“They’re Shot From Guns!™️”
CC
Democrats in space! Humanity is doomed!!!
OK, if you dip your bullets and bacon or pork, will it still retain some at the same speed?
The best kind.
"Say, I wonder what will happen if I shoot a bug out a cannon?"
"Hold muh beer."
50+ years ago, Northern Virginia had a (17 year?) cicada appearance. Zillions of the damned things.
In that era, we had Estes model rockets.
Being 12 year olds, we of course put the two together.
“There are actually several valid scientific proposals to send tardigrades into space to see how they are affected by long term space travel.”
Then the rocket crashes into the moon and the headlines read “life discovered on the moon”.
Love it. Tardigrades are fascinating critters.
Not that I would ever wish this upon the Crime Minister of Canaduh, but some Canadians might.
I have a lifetime of questionable experiences that I now realize were eligible for full funding from the government.
Any experiment you walk (or run) away from provides invaluable knowledge.
