This chart shows a view of problem reports submitted in the past 24 hours compared to the typical volume of reports by time of day. It is common for some problems to be reported throughout the day. Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day. In my state (WA) they sent out separate “P-EBT” cards to kids, in addition to the regular EBT card with the parent or guardian name on it. I don’t know if the P-EBT cards will continue to get sporadic deposits on them.

My wife and I live off social security. Our monthly cost of living is about a third of the amount we get every month. If they suddenly stopped depositing the payments, it would sting a little, but my take is this: If we live in a world where SS stops making payments, that will be the least of our problems.
