When Hillary was trying to “connect” with the common folks she revealed how many hours a month she spent in a makeup chair being ministered to by a bevy of makeup artists. Not only did it come across flat as a way of connecting with us common folks it was a look into her life and the way she saw herself. She’s on display all the time. She’s at center stage in her own drama all the time, 24/365. She reminded me of Gloria Swanson’s character Norma Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard.” Does anyone really think the Clinton’s do anything ordinary people do just for the pleasure of it, like hiking? I suspect Hillary reacts to exercise the way Count Dracula reacts to sunlight. We have been treated to Hillary’s version of, “I’m ready for closeup now.”
