The dinosaurs roaming the streets of London are legends of civil disobedience and common sense, and true champions of the people:
From a report out at MyLondon last week:
A trend has been spreading in London of ULEZ opponents using inflatable dinosaur suits to block the view of mobile camera vans. It has proved a light-hearted way of protesting the £12.50 a day clean air zone.
If you haven’t heard, the ULEZ system is an “eye-in-the-sky” surveillance network that identifies, tracks, and fines drivers of vehicles that aren’t compliant with current emissions standards—unless these are Ministry of Defense vehicles, or other vehicles used by government elites, which are exempt from the rules because their occupants are important and sacrifices are for the little people.
Paul Sullivan, the dinosaur in orange, said he came across the idea on social media, and was happy to get involved, given the public’s overwhelmingly negative response to the ULEZ system. From a News Shopper article out Monday:
We spoke to Paul Sullivan, the man behind the dinosaur costume, who explained that he noticed that the ULEZ expansion was causing great concern in his community and so decided to take action after it was implemented on August 29.
Paul, 36, told the News Shopper: ‘My biggest gripe that I had with it is when it was spoken about, the majority of people decided they didn’t want it expanded but the audacity of the mayor forced it out to the edges of Greater London. For the people that live on the outskirts or people have to drive into London, whether be that traders, self-employed, small businesses, or even carers for elderly family members – for the majority of people that £12.50 a day is just unachievable financially.’

I bet that the .gov will have them removed due to revenue loss.
They found a way to TAX THE AIR!...................
And it’s interesting that a British band predicted it.
Turn off my air. I am saving my money for old age.
George Harrison wrote it, IIRC..................
Seems like those systems should be readily vulnerable to appropriately-equipped drones.
Next up... “if you try to walk, they’ll tax your feet”
And when the non-violent protestors are skated off to the hoosegow - then Dr. Molotov will likely visit.
But it is London, so they may just stomach it like so many other impositions and little tyrannies.
The British public from what I’ve observed consists of extremist crazies and defenseless wimps with the actions of the crazies being tolerated by their government and the wimps being punished when they complain. Like Democrats in NY it appears that there are more crazies than wimps because no matter how tyrannical and insane their government behavior they keep voting for the same type of people.
The ULEZ cameras mounted on poles are regularly taken down by vigilantes. You’ll see them posting on social media, counting coup with the ones they’ve “captured”.
Personally, I’d just foam up the cameras with a can of Great Stuff mounted on an extended handle. The foam, once dry, would make the cameras unusable.
Could go direct. Set fire to tires right under every camera. Give them something to record.
Slice a tire. Roll the halves around the pole supporting the camera. Douse with petrol and light.
New York city is installing cameras and charging up to $23 a trip congestion charge tax. I wonder if the people there will bend over.
America is now literally jailing political opponents for posting memes against the regime. America has a second amendment to bring down a tyrannical government so when is the boogaloo of courageous patriots happening?
Been to most of the countries in western Europe. Been to the UK 4 times. Of all the countries I’ve been to, UK is by far the biggest socialist/nanny state...funny thing, most Brits don’t seem to mind it.
That's the problem with Brits. They not only are sheep they want to be sheep hate anyone who doesn't want to be a sheep and try to spread their Whipped dog attitude as far as they can.
"The hungry sheep look up and are not fed ... Rot inwardly and foul contagion spread". Describes the British persona
They’re new Yorkers their normal position is bent over and they like it that way.
