I don’t care how loopy Jones may be. This ruling is not in accord with the principle of free speech. It does not bode well for a free people.
The same lawyers are conducting lawfare on Alex Jones from multiple states.
And they are employing the same globaltarian “justice” system that has unconstitutionally held January 6th “insurrectionists” in solitary confinement for almost two years without bail or trial.
The lawyers have stated in the trials that money is not their goal, their goal is to deprive him of his platform and ensure that he will never have a public platform again. He has been told multiple times by the prosecutors that they will drop everything if he just shuts up and goes away.
The trials are a joke. He was not allowed to have a jury trial in the judgement phase. The judge “deemed” him guilty.
They said he forfeited because he did not provide discovery that proved his guilt, then they cherry picked the tons of discovery he provided for “evidence” in the trial.
They want it both ways.
They want to say he forfeited because he didn’t provide discovery, then they use the documents he provided as “evidence” in the trial.
The jury trials are just show trials to determine how much he owes.
The judge told the jury he is guilty and presented “experts” who said, without evidence, that Jones is richer than George Soros.
Love or hate Alex Jones, this should scare the cheezy puffs out of anybody with two brain cells in a row.
Alex Jones was the test case for canceling people from social media.
This is the test case for suing anyone into oblivion who says anything that contradicts the globaltarian narrative.
Sneer all you want at Alex Jones, you are next on the menu.
Can he use the blood/rock argument? I think that might do it.
Many Judges today need Judgement imposed on them with extreme prejudice.

There are numerous ways around that. His wife could form a corporation to employ him, pay him $100K/year, and bank the rest after taxes. The corporation pays for many of his personal expenses, including vacations and vehicles. Nothing that anyone can do about it, either.
Give them time, it’s just 2023.

I had been curious about that too. Apparently a problem for Jones’ defense was created by text messages and/or emails of his that the prosecution had somehow acquired.
These made it plain that Jones knew all along that the Sandy Hook massacre was real and that he simply was making up his version in order generate publicity for his show. That appears to be the rationale for the ruling against Jones.
The lawfare against Trump and Jones is not isolated. Our rulers want an environment similar to Germany, Britain, and Canada, where real opposition is suppressed. Eve better, they would like America to become like the Soviet Bloc before 1989, where there is only one controlling party and some token opposition. All in the name of "democracy", "equity". or whatever the curren thing is.
Yeah, a billion dollars. If I were Jones I’d say make it 2 billion. You got just as much of a chance as getting it.
Conspiracy theories are not illegal. His defamation of the families was indeed a tort for which was found liable, however.
