As you see, a svelte Santa Biden points to the gifts he's left under the tree for the family: low unemployment, inflation down, recession averted.
And Biden says to them: "Look what I brought you folks -- this oughta make things merry and bright!"

The media is full tilt trying to tell the American people that lowering inflation to 150% of the target from 450% of target is a good think. But people go to the store and see super high prices. Low inflation does not lower prices. It keeps them high. Next year they will be 3.1% high than this year. When you go to the store you will pay significantly higher prices than under Trump.
The media is trying to make you deny your lying eyes and just accept that high prices are here to stay. But your paycheck is not much higher. And they can say inflation is under control. But inflation is not the same as high prices. Inflation is the same as next years prices compounded over this years already high prices.
The idiots in the media are trying to tell you that lowering inflation makes prices go down. And they are wondering why we just can’t accept their idiocy.
So the unstated solution is to replace the depicted population with a more appreciative population of color.
Rush Limbaugh used to say this as a joke or thought experiment, that government with all our money being used redistributively was like Santa Claus.
This Santa’s just going from house to house looking for little girls to fondle. His gifts are just empty boxes with colorful ribbons on them.
