Finding yourself named in a document dump involving the world's largest underaged sex ring, a dead pedophile billionaire, his convicted female accomplice, a disgraced Prince of England, and the conflicting statements of an alleged victim is without compare.
When I learned that I was included in the Epstein documents unsealed on Monday, my first response was disbelief.
Then again, of course this was going to happen. It was only a matter of time.
Much has been written in recent days about the documents concerning Sarah Ransome - who first approached me in 2016 with bombshell claims that she had videotapes of Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson having sex with one of Jeffrey Epstein's 'girls'. Claims these men vehemently deny.
The truth is: a lot of what we have read is not fully accurate.
Yet I would never call Ransome a liar, either.
Here's what really happened, and how I became part of this most extraordinary and unending story.
Back in 2016, I was one of the first journalists to write about Epstein's continued abuse of underage girls.
I was at the New York Post then, and the blockbuster writer James Patterson, along with co-authors John Connolly and Tim Malloy, had just published 'Filthy Rich: A Powerful Billionaire, the Sex Scandal That Undid Him, and All the Justice That Money Can Buy'.
Epstein was still alive, which made this book an even bigger deal.
Legally, it had to be bulletproof. Even an author as wealthy as Patterson doesn't want a libel suit brought by a super-connected billionaire.

These videotapes, like the truth of the Kennedy assassination, will never see the light of day.

I think one thing that would help uncover some of what went on with Jeffrey Epstein would be to somehow get more of the underage victims to come forward and talk about who they were involved with.
If you had another 30-40 girls all underage at the time, come forward and tell basically the same story and name names, it would not be justice but might keep interest in the case and keep people trying to understand what happened.

Seems to me if she had the tapes, she should release some selected tidbits just to establish they are real.
It would go a long way to making her case.
Too many times we are told the evidence is coming...just you wait and see and nothing happens in the end...
The girls we have been hearing about are only part of the story. They were mostly just white trash jail bait looking for a sugar daddy.
There was an earlier generation that were actual 8-12 year old sex slaves that Epstein bought out of the collapsed Soviet Union, especially Romania, for like $2000 a head.
This is crazy! Ghislaine went to jail for supposedly procuring girls for Epstein and his friends.
As a female, she probably had not too much sex with the girls herself.
But - who are those friends?!
Why are they not in jail with her!?
I guess, we all know the answer.

What is interesting is how some of the stories are “believed.” And some are dismissed.
I think the bottom line is that a lot of “powerful” people are scumbags. A lot of regular people are as well…they just cannot afford the nice island.
If Ransome had real evidence she should have released it for use in major news stories that included demands for Epstein and his cohorts to face the music. Once the evidence was in the public eye, she would have far less to fear from Epstein et al.
My guess: she was abused by Epstein and maybe others, and BELIEVED the worst of the various fat cats she wants to destroy. Many big claims turn out to be hoaxes where the “witness” wants to expose horrible things they just “know” must be happening. If only they had the evidence. Pretending to have it damages the targets, and the source feels like they have “done something” bout it all.
She never had or even saw any videos. If Epstein had them, the FBI vacuumed them up. If the FBI vacuumed them up, nything involving Trump would have been leaked by now (unless they are saving it for after Trump is nominated — that would really create a mess).
If the Deep State (FBI) has the tapes and DJT was on them they would release them in a New York minute to try and stop him.
After digesting the horror of that and being thankful the monster is dead I realized the Cartels are doing the same and often worse on a far larger scale, sucking in the weak and corruptible who hold important positions to bypass justice with the sword of blackmail held over their heads.
For me the Second Coming of Jesus can't arrive soon enough.

And those sex slaves are no longer breathing, most likely, so they can’t come forward.
The woman who brought the lawsuit that ended up getting the last information made public is American and over 30 years old now, they’re plenty of girls that have not come forward that are still alive that are her age and were on the island with her, all of them were underage at the time.
