AT a recent Town Hall, hosted by Fox, President Trump was asked who would be his Vice President.
He replied, that he already had someone in mind, but would not say at this time.
We've all seen the list, that includes inexplicably people like Nikki Haley, Desantis and Ramaswamy.
Another list has people with some credibility like Tulsi Gabbard, Bryan Donalds and a few others like Rand Paul and even Robert Kennedy Jr.
In my mind, there is only one choice.
PLEASE LET IT BE BEN CARSON.
I can't think anyone better.
Any other name that comes to mind will part of the swamp, not loyal to Trump, incompetent, narcissistic etc.
Ben Carson, along with a hundred other reasons, can change this white supremacy nonsense moniker that they've put on Trump immediately.
He can be a great ambassador for minorities. No one can doubt that.
He can deliver, like he did when President Trump put him in charge of vitalizing the inner cities, as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Globally, he'd be great. Can you just imagine?!
Everywhere he'd go people, esp in this hemisphere and Africa will flock to him.
Ben Carson would be the kind of person, every young man and woman regardless of color would aspire to become.
I can think of a thousand other things, but you get my message.
Even the media would embrace him.
In short, Ben Carson would be Trump's Yang.
Trump taking her on as VP would literally be a suicidal act.

I have spoken with Carson and heard him speak at a large public gathering. He is very in tune with all the national issues, even more so than some of the current POTUS candidates. Some said Ronald Reagan did not have the background to be Governor of California, and he proved them wrong and proved them wrong again when the kept hanging the “former actor” tag on him when he ran for president.
Most very good people are more than their paper resume would have you think they are.

any trump VP will be expected to be elected in 2028 and any VP worth his weight in 2028 will have to be a fighter in 2024 with trump... the deepstate can withstand a 4 year set back... we need a good 12 year stretch...

Don’t get me wrong. Dr. Carson would be a fine VP choice. Here’s the problem. Like Joe Biden choosing Kamala Harris, former President Trump needs someone his opponents would loathe to see as President. Someone like MTG, just as an example. If former President Trump chose Dr.Carson as his VP, he might as well place a target on his back.

If Trump is supposed to be the leader, he should not need/or does not need someone “to show Trump where the problems are”. If Trump needs such a person then he is not the leader he projects himself to be, only someone who sounds like he is. Time will tell the answer to that, but he did not drain the swamp at all the last time.
Why should he have to do it himself. He needs fighters not get alongs. There are better places for Carson like head of CDC.

Trump is his own fighter. He hires people to manage the details not to do his fighting for him.
I think Byron is a Trump supporter, and that - being a Trump supporter in some way - is likely, in my view, to influence Trump’s choice.

Ben Carson’s a good man - and for the President AFTER Trump he’d be a great VP. But what Trump needs now is someone who wakes up and eats nails for breakfast washes that down with acid.
The deep state’s going to be going after Trump worse than before - AND after us with everything they’ve got. We need a fighter on the same level as Trump.
Yet I would have him operate on me. If I ever needed to be operated on.
I don’t think Ben Carson is even on the list let alone the short list. Trump will not be looking for someone for VP who will bring in votes. He’s stated that the VP choice hasn’t made a bit of difference in modern presidential elections. He’ll be looking for someone he can trust over everything else with ideological compatibility second. I hope it will be someone who has a track record of busting kneecaps in the bureaucracy.
If you want someone to be insurance against an act on Trump, then Ted Nugent is the only choice for VP!
