Apple’s much-heralded Vision Pro has left a segment of buyers disappointed after they discovered that the high-priced device will not play any VR porn.
The Vision Pro prevents users from accessing the immersive explicit content, leading one frustrated user to dub it a “$3,500 chastity belt.”
An entire Reddit thread has already sprouted on the social media site and is dedicated to trying to skirt around the Vision Pro’s X-rated guardrails, according to 404 Media.
“I am sure someone will eventually come out with an app that allows that, none are available at launch, and you can’t use the native web browser to access sites either,” the person wrote on Reddit.
The same user who gave the virtual reality headset the nickname declared that “you can’t play NSFW [not safe for work] VR on Apple’s new product yet.”

I remember there was a movie some years back called “Brainstorm” where the great advance was that they found a way to record people’s experiences and play them back to people wo others could actually experience them inside their brains.
The first “victim” of the technology was some guy working for the company who got his hands on the first sex recorded that way, and figured out how to splice the thing into a loop...
When they found him the next morning still wearing the device running the playback in a loop, he was a quivering mass of protoplasm, and his brain was fried!
The story here is that Apple is censoring what you can watch on this device and even what websites you can go to.
I wonder if you can watch Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” on it.
And if you can now, does Apple guarantee no political censorship in the future?

It is more than just a private screen. VR users often get engrossed in the interactive environment and become oblivious that their movements are being observed by others.

Well, that’s a good think in my book. Go after the real deal, not some VR broad.
The navy would rotate movie reels to the various ships. Often the best scenes were cut out and sliced into a new reel of “best hits”.
Steve Jobs came under a lot of criticism for denying access to porn on Apple products but to his credit, he wouldn't budge on the subject.
