The New Mexico Department of Health is encouraging people 65 or older to get an updated dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a new recommendation.
Immunocompromised people can already receive additional doses, per previous CDC recommendations.
NMDOH Chief Medical Officer Miranda Durham said most COVID-19 deaths and hospitalizations last year were in the 65-plus demographic.
“An additional vaccine dose can provide added protection that may have decreased over time for those at highest risk,” Durham said in Thursday news release.

“If you’re an older person, the first shots obviously didn’t work. So please try again” - Chief Medical Officer Miranda Durham.
My sister has had four boosters and is sick now with a couple unusual lung disorders. She used to be fairly healthy before these ‘vaccines’ came along.
She also obeys whatever the TV and the government tell her to do.
"Just say no!"
Not only an excellent tagline...
But the best dang description for what CoupFlu vaxxes do that I’ve seen.
That description should up on billboards, t-shirts, PSAs...
How many vaxeeems in total now would a true believer have taken if they get this next one?
Does anyone know of a source with a list of when each booster came out?
I guess in six weeks a booster will be recommended to a lower age group.
I can think of five people I work with who will jump at this.
Is six the most chambers any revolver known to man has?
“An additional vaccine dose can provide added protection”
Let’s see the science on that, CMO.
I denied the masks and the vaccines. I haven’t seen a DR for 3 years. I’m still kicking (I’m 90) and it makes me cringe that so many elders get caught up in the vaccine killer. The tend to believe that their doctors tell them. I’ve always hated doctors and made a point not to believe everything they said. I take my vitamins and wait for the Lord’s call.
Take the clot shot? Sure…

They push the flu shots to be given in September.
Our flu season begins after Thanksgiving. The flu vaccinations lose 30% of their effectiveness every month.
My wife and I got the first 2 Covid shots, and I had shingles after the first shot and so did a friend. The shingles rash disappeared after about a week with both of us.
My wife and I never got another COVID vaccination. We had a variant, short lived, in two late springs and never had any treatments. I had Covid foot for about a week, and the rash went away after topical steroid treatment.

Some 22s have nine.
Just say no.
Time to thin the herd.
The government hasn’t thinned the herd enough.
Getting a booster implies you got numero uno. Guess I’ll have to skip it and they can skip up and kiss my 🐴’s butt.
