Incredible map shows the places on the moon where we might find ‘infinite energy’ or trillions in minerals by 2030.

A new space race is warming up after half a century, with Russia, China and America racing to put robots, human astronauts and even lunar trains on the moon.

The prize is enormous, with resources ranging from ‘rare earth’ minerals used in electronics to Helium-3, a potential energy source which could power a nuclear fusion revolution offering infinite clean energy.

Morgan Stanley has previously suggested that the global space industry could be worth $1 trillion annually by 2040 - and could make Elon Musk (behind the company Space X) the world’s first trillionaire.

The map below shows some of the missions targeting the moon in coming years - and some of the treasures believed to lurk on its surface, from rare earth minerals to Helium-3.

NASA is planning to put the first woman on Mars in the middle of this decade, and both NASA, Russia and China are planning for a moon base in the longer term.

Defense contractor Northrop Grumman is drawing up plans for a railway on the moon to carry goods between bases, with the moon’s south pole believed to hold reserves of water (which can be turned into fuel for spacecraft going to mine asteroids or land on Mars).

NASA has spoken about a "lunar gold rush", with Russia saying that it would launch further lunar missions and then explore the possibility of a joint Russian-China crewed mission and even a lunar base.

Rare earth metals - used in smartphones, computers and advanced technologies - are available on the moon, according to research by Boeing.

Helium-3 is a form of the gas helium that is rare on earth, but NASA says...

“first woman on Mars”

They have to be a lot more specific than that.
* Lesbo
* Not white
* High school drop-out
* Maybe tranny

Gerard O'neill, several decades ago advocated power generation in space. We have all the technology on the shelf.

Go to the moon and/or asteroids. Mine and smelt all the metals needed to build the power plants there with 1/6 gravity on the moon and less on asteroids.

Launch the materials from there to small factories in orbit around the earth and construct the power plants in geosynchronous orbits.

These would be simple steam generators. If you understand how a steam generator works, half of the power comes from the steam, the other half from the suction of condensing the steam.

A power plant in orbit would have the ultimate heat on the sun side of the plant, and the ultimate cold on the shaded side.

You beam the power to earth with microwave energy to converter stations.

You wouldn't need a huge grid of power lines as receiver and converter stations could be located in local areas.

I expected, back in the 1970s that well before now this would be where our power came from.

"China has yet to design and build a rocket that
does what Starship does,..."

China doesn't need to design anything. They'll just steal
the design of Starship from SpaceX, just like they do
for all their technology. Those Chinese "immigrants"
coming across the border aren't aren't here because
they want to experience "Our Democracy", as Democrats
so lovingly describe the USA.

Just a heads up, here.

There is zero hard evidence that this stuff is there in recoverable amounts. Or even at all. You will not know without someone writing a check to go there, have living quarters, go out daily looking, drilling, whatever.

In oil exploration it takes many exploration wells to find new oil, and that is done with air around you.

They’re going to send Stormy Daniels to Mars.

They need someone to.....ahem...”entertain” the male astronauts.

Did they say “gold rush?” They better not bring too much gold back to Earth. It will affect the Earth’s rotation.

With less gravity on the moon, you would really rock and roll. A rock band would be rockin'!

Do you actually believe they care one bit about improving humanity with more power? They are currently doing everything they can to kill off our species and will soon flip off the power switch to kill even more. All this will be is an excuse to syphon off money into personal pockets. Our Grandchildren need this like a hole in the head.

“Sure, change our only satellite’s mass.

Their psychoses clearly prevents them from seeing the gravity of the situation.”

Brilliant. And there is that too... It is just another “excuse” to steal tax dollars into personal pockets anyhow. They will never actually do it no matter how much money we throw at it.

It is a costly con job we do not need.

To anyone who believes this will ever happen there is a high speed rail line in California you can buy.

Oh wait...

It is just a con for dollars into personal pockets...

Depends on who the "they" are.

Most of our present politicians, UN, the globalists, enviro-wackos, etc., unfortunately are exactly as you describe and as evil as you describe.

A few business people in the "they" position with real vision are perhaps interested, because there is big bucks in selling electricity.

The Chinese and/or Russians may be interested, because you combine the ultimate power source with the ultimate weapon.

The electricity would be beamed down with microwaves to receivers with feedback circuits to shut them down if they drifted off course for safety.

If one wanted to wage war with another country, re-position your generation stations over them and roast them to a crisp with pinpoint accuracy.

Whoever owns and uses the high frontier makes the money, controls the power and controls the world.

Having reliable, environmentally clean power is a side effect.

“If one wanted to wage war with another country, re-position your generation stations over them and roast them to a crisp with pinpoint accuracy.”

Which is exactly why no one on earth needs it.

It is all talk, it will never happen. We will just throw money at a project that will never happen. Just like the Ca high speed rail project.

It is just another con job to take advantage of the ignorant.

It will not work?

Why won’t it work?

Well for one thing there are no children on the moon to take advantage of cheap labor and we all know the Libs have no problem using child labor to fulfill their wet dream of clean energy……..
