Twenty-one months of jail time may seem light to some, but it is not for a normal person. Another thing to consider is that, IMHO, Weiner will not have a successful probation. He will likely be returned to jail. Early in my career I defended some clients accused of minor sex crimes, like exposure and such. I recall a judge once saying at a sentencing, “I wish you well, but I know you will be back. People like you never really change.” Lo, he was right, and many of the clients I represented came back again and again.
I’m not saying he deserved less; but having a judge named Denise all but sealed his fate.
He really needed Sigmund Freud.

As for Mr. Weiner's wiener, I should think the good Archduke could do a little better. Ferdy was a pretty good guy all things considered, and probably didn't deserve the bullet he caught or the commemoration as some New York pervert's shriveled choad. Just a thought.
