On June 4th, 1989, at an Air Show in London, Ontario, Canada, an RF-4-C Phantom of the Mississippi Air National Guard, accidentally cracked Mach-1, while doing the Show opening.
As luck would have it, we were standing underneath it at the time. The photo was snapped by my brother as he was being blown off his feet:
Cool, huh?...

It was a flight of F4s that saved my hide in Viet Nam while pinned down by an NVA battalion. Love that airframe!

"...LOL! After hoping your brother was all right..."Yeah, he was fine. He said he pressed the shutter as he was knocked down, and didn't know if he got it until the film was developed.
When he saw the picture, he said it was the best shot he'd ever taken, even if it was blind-shithouse-luck!............FRegards

"...Copy the file and link it... need more?..."Yes I do! It's a videotape now, and I need to learn how to change it to a computer file so I can park it somewhere on a web page, and then I can link to it.
I just got a new scanner, so I took the F-4 picture off the wall, scanned it, put it on my freebie web site, and linked it.
I just don't know how to turn a videotape into a computer file.............FRegards

You can copy video tapes using capture cards. I use a product from Hauppauge.
Check out www.hauppauge.com for more information.
Some of these can be found at Best buy and Best Buy can install the card for you at a modest charge. The WinTV GO product can capture strait to .avi format then you can copy that to the web site.

Hello Professional Engineer,
Please help out the folks who just struggled to pass college physics (etc.) what
accounts for the image.
Is the sun-lit rectangle of land behind the car there because the moisture (overcast)
has been pushed ahead of the car?
Please bear with us...this is magic to some of us non-physics/engineering types.
