I know it sounds all tin-foil hattish and so on, but one of my email addresses was mistakenly added to a mailing list for a "group" that meets regularly in Manhattan.

So why not post these emails as threads, along with the list of attendees.

See this:

Preparing for The Next Pearl Harbor Attack (JUNE 2001, Bush team addressing terrorism threat)

Excerpt:

But it wasn't a photo opportunity, and few politicians seemed to take notice. The following year, in 1998, Clinton signed Presidential Decision Directive (PDD) 63, requiring government agencies to secure their own critical infrastructure systems and to work with the private sector on the problem. PDD 63 created a central-oversight body within the National Security Council called the Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office (CIAO).

CIAO maintained a staff of one: Richard Clarke.

The Democrats have given it their all. No one believes the President had a crystal ball to see 9-11 coming and prevent it. The real issue rather should be what did President do in response to 9/11 and how effectively has he protected the homeland from further terrorist attacks since? President Bush's record speaks for itself as much as the Democrats, through Richard Clarke, try their damnedest to discredit him for what happened before 9/11, the fact of the matter remains no one else would have been completely prepared. The Clinton Administration had eight years to deal with Al Qaeda and did nothing. The contrast between their duessetude and the Bush Administration's giving terrorism priority for the last three years is instructive. When all is said and done the American people can tell the difference between playing election politics and leadership. And the Democrats have contributed blame, whining and finger-pointing but have yet to show real leadership on the greatest threat facing our country today and Clarke can't help them in the one area they're weakest and where they lack credibility.

Cyncooper found this article yesterday, and I got the adminmoderator to bump it up high in Front Page News -- since then lots of emailing of it to the press, networks, etc., even (hopefully) the White House was made aware of it. See #22, #27 and #47.
