part of the 9/11 Commission's work-- is to investigate "Enemy No. 1".

Although Davis does not document Gorelick's role in Oklahoma City, media accounts routinely describe her as the director of the Oklahoma City task force, the so-called "field commander." As Davis has told me, someone in Washington called the FBI in Oklahoma City and issued a two-word directive on its investigation into Islamic terrorism: "Kill it."

OKC was covered up. From this statement, the implication is that Gorelick had more than cursory involvement.

The morning of the Murrah bombing, I was listening to NBC TV. During the first hour or so, the on-air commentary was along the lines of 'terrorists, foreign terrorists, Arab terrorists, Islamic terrorists'.

After about an hour, all of the sudden the commentary change. News commentators started saying 'we need to be careful about indicting any group or nationality', 'this might not be foreign terrorists', etc. When McVeigh was apprehended, the perfect Chief Moose scenario developed - a white guy did it. That gave fodder to ignoring foreign terrorist involvement.

Of course, Clinton, politically, could not afford to have OKC associated with foreign terrorists. Too many might raise the question, How did the Clinton administration allow foreign terrorists to hit us almost in the center of the nation? Yeh, 2 white guys was a much better conspiracy to sell to the American public.

Although it is easy to blame the FBI for the shameful investigative breakdowns both in Oklahoma City and on Long Island, its agents did not subvert the investigations of their own accord. Their orders came from Washington. The responsibility for enforcing these orders fell to Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick, who served as the Soviet equivalent of the "political officer" within the Justice Department.

Blame for 911 is a zero-sum game. If the Clinton Administration and the Congress is not responsible for 911, the Bush Administration must be.

Yet although the "September 11 Commission" has many members institutionally disposed to protect the reputation of Congress and two in particular who are institutionally disposed to protect the reputation of the Clinton Administration, it has NONE who are institutionally disposed to protect the reputation of the Bush Administration.

In this it differs from objective journalism^TM as it manifested itself in the recent presidential news conference only in the sense that not even the congressional Republicans have representation in that bunch.

After reading many of the Gorelick articles and scanning many others, I get the impression that Gorelick has been connected to commissions and investigations as far back as the OKC Murrah Building bombing and TWA 800.

Her name seems to keep popping up and mystery seems to surround why it does.

It would cause one to speculate whether her nomination to the 9-11 Commission was more than just participatory. Was she actually 'placed' there by the Clintons to ensure that the fault-finding was post-January 20,2000, not pre-January 20, 2000 [GWBush's inauguration].

After so many articles, headlines, connections, commissions, investigations, I think Gorelick's appointment to the 9-11 Commission was by intent and she has a defined assignment, which is much more than interviewing for a potential Kerry administration job.

This is just fascinating...and it fits so pefectly with the Democrats running out to blame Rush and right wing republicans for OKC. And who better to direct the troops than the inoculated one sitting on the 9/11 Commission.

So this is the reason Gorelick is on that Commission. RATS are desperate to keep the truth about OKC, WTC1 and TWA800 from getting out. No legitimate investigation of 9/11 can avoid these connections and Gorelick's role is to prevent them from being exposed. That has already started to a limited extent. But once the dike is breached all hell is going to break loose.
