I am a registered Republican and I will be be voting for Bush in this election. However, I am very troubled by a couple of issues.
It seems (as much as I was against it) that Klintoon's nominal tax increase on the super wealthy did work. It didn't hurt the economy, it didn't hurt the wealthy's input to creating jobs, and it did help reduce the deficit.
Also I wonder about President Bush's intentions for going into Iraq. I tend to believe he was backing a PNAC plan and would have gone there regardless of whether or not 9/11 occurred.
Are there intelligent opinions here avalaible on these matters? I'd love to hear them.
