The presence of so many pistol-packing citizens at Monday's meeting unnerved council members and, in particular, infuriated council member David Snyder, who denounced their brazen display of firearms as "intimidation" and attacked Virginia's recently enacted laws that limit local control over guns. What a bunch of Nancy's. That building was probably the safetest place t obe that night. Snyder should be in jail. For gross stupidity if nothing else...

It seemed simple enough. Falls Church officials recently drafted a policy that would require city workers to call 911 immediately if any Jews stepped out in public without the mandatory yellow triangles on their arm............

I always looked at folks carrying a sidearm in a visable holster as law abidding sorts straight away. If the same sidearm was properly conceiled per a CHL argeement (while the 2nd is ignored by law) then the issue should never bear fruit until either a crime or an act of self defense occurs.......
Gang violence or not crimes against persons are high because coyotes dwell where there are lots of rabbits. Polidiots such as the Falls Church sort makes more rabbits with unconstitutional laws that reflect their own personal fears and fantisies. Doom on em for keeping their folks in such a hazardous position with their misguided efforts to keep em safe.

"It was unnerving," said Vice Mayor Martha Meserve. She added: "Our staff is supposed to be on alert to look for suspicious activity, to look for terrorists, and now they're being told that if they question someone carrying a weapon, they are harassing people. You can't have it both ways." Uh huh!
In recent years Northern Virginia has had an enormous increase in gang activity, mostly ethnic gangs being involved. At the same time there is an enormous resurgence of wildlife, foxees, for example, with intrusions into regular suburban neighborhoods on a startling scale.
The actions of Falls Church, an isolated majority liberal bastion, are like those of the educracy, which, rather than recognize and actually address the ethnic gang problem, has banned even pocket knives for little boys.
Anything to avoid dealing with the problem while pretending to do so with "solutions" that enlarge and protect the "progresssive" liberal state which the secularists worship.

Just imagine how intimidated they'd feel if they actually outlaw those guns and TRIED to take them from 150,000,000 Americans.

check to see if the gun was properly licensed and report their findings to city officials. Is Falls Church nuts? Fairfax County has been slapped down on this kind of thing so many times it's not funny, and the law against local preemption was (once again) clearly articulated in the round of new gun laws a couple months ago.
But the biggest question is, what is a "properly licensed" gun? Virginia doesn't license guns, and only requires a permit for concealed carry (which you don;t need for open carry).

So when the police show up, armed, they have to call 911 and get more police there? Seems like the whole department would be there pretty soon!
