Who is going to die?
World Net Daily ^ | December 1, 2004 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 12/01/2004 1:04:29 AM PST by eakole

"Yossef Bodansky, the former director of the U.S. Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and a man I respect immensely for his intelligence insights, says the United States faces an "inevitable" al-Qaida attack with weapons of mass destruction.

"What would be the U.S. response to such an attack?

"Now is the time to think about the unthinkable.

"Contingency plans need to be made. And those plans, at least some of them, need to be known to the whole world to serve as a deterrent against such an attack. …"

"… * The Islamist world and its allies need to know there will be an unprecedented nuclear response to any attack on the United States with weapons of mass destruction. We don't need to be specific about which major cities and installations will be vaporized. But it needs to be clear that the response will be overwhelming, resulting in far greater death and destruction than what is inflicted upon the United States. We need to let the terrorists know that addresses of response have been determined. Those counseling the terrorists that such an attack on the United States is justified should be among the first to experience the horror."

IT's about reducing the Arab world to a 18th century technology status.

I like your EMP attack idea, but moving the Arab world into the 18th century would actually be a huge leap forward for most of them. ;)

If our economy is destroyed, the resulting social explosion in America will mean its destruction, or at best its conversion into a full-out dictatorship to restore public order.

You think our beknighted homies will just sit quietly in the 'hood, in the dark, freezing, with no food in the fridge and no gas in the ride? All of our cities will look like Fallujah one month after the lights go out.

Don't panic but I believe in the end there is no response we can make, we cannot nuke an entire populace over what a few individuals do. In the end, if this indeed does happen, Bush will be baced with a terrible decision and the only one he will morally be able to make, and that is, there is no response other than trying to rebuild.

Looking towards the future however, maybe we'll we close off the borders and simply seal off our country entirely, that will be the only choice.

You are correct, if the economy collapses the country is lost, as much as we like to think about the "goodness of people" that myth will quickly be obliterated. I feel that this event is much closer than we would like to think.

Thank you for the reality check. Guess the granola and tofu won't help that much after all.

Regarding the point of the article, the most likely targets would be population centers and where communications, business, and political power are concentrated. That means the big coastal cities, plus Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver. If or when it occurs the calls by survivors for retribution on a Biblical scale will make what happened after 9/11 seem mild.

from the article; "Do they really want to see their cities vaporized? Do they really want to see their religious centers destroyed? Do they really want to see adherents to their ideology and their faith killed in massive numbers as a direct result of their actions? "

The answer is yes, they do. These people send their children to be suicide bombers. They live to be martyrs for allah. Of course they want us to vaporize their cities, etc. etc.

I think we should oblige them.

So you got it pegged for what will happen to us. Feel better now? Let's just surrender and start reading the koran. If it comes to this end, we might as well exterminate them so they can't cause us any harm while we recover...I believe people would be able to survive in spite of your doom and gloom predictions. I have Faith, have you?

Don't put words in my mouth. I just don't consider the ruination of our economy to be a bump in the road, "fair trade" for blasting the ME with EMPs (and cutting of the ME oil flow).

The true "surgical strike" would be to simply implode the insane murder cult once and for all, but craterizing the black moon-god rock.

Done. Over. Finished. Oil still flowing.

So do I. I would not want to live within a gas tank's range of any urban megalopolis for the foreseeable future.

Thanks. Believe me, I'm not out for any type of surrender or capitulation to the insane murder cultists! I'm just more worried about the effects of an economic collapse in the USA. It would not be anything like the "peaceful" Great Depression. Our "social contract" is busted. If the ATMs, groceries and gas stations go empty for even a month, if the lights go out, ALL bets are off.

The USA will not nuke civilans, a city like Mecca

There are no civilians in mecca. Only more un-uniformed enemy combatants. islam is the enemy

I can just imagine Osama's face when he hear's about Mecca's destruction.

Except that mecca must be nuked. It doesn't sit on any resources that we need so it serves it's purpose best by being a radioactive wasteland for as long as islam continues to exist, or as long as islam is even remembered to have existed.

Somewhat like the destruction of Carthage. burn it and salt the earth

(Allahu Akbar means "our God is greater.)

But allahu Fubar means "their god is f'd up beyond all repair"!

Mecca must be nuked. islam must be destroyed

I like it actually.

1. Defeat your enemy, then go to war
2. WAGE WAR TO CRUSH.

Guilty of aiding and abetting:
Saudi Arabia
Iran
Pakistan
Syria
Palestine
North Korea

Bush needs to repond like Kennedy did during the Cuban missle crisis (any attack on the US will be seen as an attack by the USSR). My response to the world and directed specifically at these nations would be "if the United States is attacked again, we may not know exactly who did it, but we do know each one of you is responsible in some way. Therefore, our response will be nuclear and it will arriving in one of your cities within the next few hours.
