This is what you won't see in the paper. This is what you won't see on CNN or on MSNBC or CBS News or on any major media Web site anywhere and especially no goddamn way ever in hell will you see it within a thousand miles of Fox News.
You aren't supposed to see. You aren't supposed to know. You are to remain ignorant and shielded, and, if you're like most Americans, you have been very carefully conditioned to think Bush's nasty Iraq war is merely this ugly little firecracker-like thing happening way, way over there, carefully orchestrated and somewhat messy and maybe a little bloody but mostly still patriotic and good and necessary and sponsored by none other than God his own angry Republican self.

Mental problems included anxiety, sleep disturbance, panic attacks, depressive moods or thoughts, problems with memory or concentration and compulsive behaviour or obsessive thoughts. The researchers noted that there is a dearth of research into the mental health of gay men, lesbians and bisexual men and women in the UK.
The study found that 31% of respondents also attempted suicide. Suicide attempts were found to be linked to discrimination such as recent physical attack. However, the study did not find a link between discrimination and mental disorder."

Many of those dead in the "dirty, very dirty pictures" he's so teared up about have seriously called for dropping persons with his/her/its sexual proclivity head first from tall buildings, followed up by stoning if the fall doesn't kill them. In many parts of the world, these calls are acted out daily. In Iran a teen-aged girl was just executed for having premarital sex, by examples of the very fanatics he feels so sorry for at the expense of America's finest.
What is obvious is that he feels pretty damned safe tucked away there in the security of the SFChronicle, a security bought during the past 200+ years by millions of those "...poorly educated, disposable hunks of politically abused postpubescent meat" he'd like to get his own little hands on before they become the rugged men of great sacrifice that he so feigns disdain.
Sadly, for Ms. Moreford, because of his/her/its own choices, the likelyhood is probably high that the new drug resistant strains of AIDS now emerging because of poorly tested compounds rushed into production by pressure from his enclave, or antibiotic resistant Syphilus, or antibiotic resistant Tuberculosis, or self loathing suicide, will remove him/her/it from the venue of mortal concern in due time.
His/her/its denial is what really amazes.
