"..we could call in all our foreign debts. Good idea."

There was a time when the United States was a net foreign creditor. Remembering the Golden Rule, if we call in our foreign loans, they might decide to call in theirs. Our net indebtedness is now more than 30% of our GDP and climbing at the rate of another 10% of GDP annually. It's a hell of a way to run a business.

"Bush is planning to create a “Great Gated Community” across the Mexican and Canadian borders. Through an unnamed email and at CBS, Counterjab learned Bush had resolved to take major strides in immigration reform."

Since government planning is an oxymoron, and almost everything government does ends up working backwards (all the incentives are backwards in a socialistic economy), the proposed wall would not keep anybody that wanted in, out. Worse, it might be very effective in keeping those who want to get out, in. As our country keeps digging itself into that great bottomless hole to China (Medicare and Social Security), under the Great Wall Plan, the Master Planners want to keep the few people willing to work for competitive wages out, and to lock in the few people with assets and/or portable income that are tired of being parasitized. Freedom is a wonderful thing. Is this a great country, or what?

Better line the wall with fast food outlets to make sure the guards show up for work. "Taco Wall" etc......

There have been a couple comments made about voting for Hillery out of pure frustration. No one here wants to see that thing elected. If there is any help to be offered her, it's this nonsensical, no enforcement illegal alien mess we have now and the GOP better realize it.

Most of us are "pro immigration". If you think this illegal invasion is economically helpful you don't believe any study done on this. The social, health and law enforcement costs are destroying our local economies. I'm sure you've read some of them.

Excellent piece. As usual. And, satire is a very effective way of getting people to wake up and pay attention.
Myself, I'm thinking writer 33, should be in a format that can be viewed by all of our fellow citizens.

Those were wonderful comments. I appreciate them more than you know. Thank you so much.

Although, viewing me can be extremely hazardous to the vision. :)
