Yep..a guy who was trying to rob an older couple in Bama was killed yesterday. He tied this couple up in their homes, the victim got loose and shot the perp. Killed him instantly. The gun did the victim alot of good. :)

That is why I have few friends. I keep to my family. I can't handle gossip and comparing size of house and rings and salary. I could care less who has better. That's the way I am :)

"It's strange how being happy can offend some people to such a degree." It's not that strange...it's highly symptomatic of liberalism. Wherever misery, poverty, pessimism and cynicism are rife, it is easy to get people to turn their lives over to the care of the big government overseers. Where happiness, hope, optimism and freedom run rampant, liberals tend to be agitated and frustrated at people's unwillingness to comply with their agenda.

Alabama is much like Texas, we put a whole new meaning to the phrase "Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms" That could apply anywhere south of the "Grits for Breakfast" Line. We joke about our good ol' "Southern Gun Culture", but we darned well know that guns and "Who Hit John" don't mix. :-)

"I'm soooo fat."
"No you're noooot! I'm fat! It's gross."

etc, ad infinitum.
Sometimes I feel like saying, "you're both fat!" But I bite my tongue. 8-)
