The existing MSM will not honor the Pope's request. We however, can and should!

John Paul and Benedict have made a believer out of me... I'm going to join the Catholic Church. Largely out of reverence for these men. Not really, the desire has been there, but the events of the last two months have really shown me how full of faith and life the RCC and how empty and void of character the Episcopal church is -- actually to the point of being evil.

Indeed, Laz, some of the MSM Clergy of Communication are a bit short on facts these days and they've been stretching the truth badly. Time for some of their own medicine, eh?
Attention MSM Liberals: Report to FReeper dungeon #1 for Confession.

You know, I thought Lazamataz had that "Pope" thing in the bag. We had the "Pope Laz: The Pope of Party " shirts all ready to go. Full line of sacramental wines, too, including "Purple Pulpit Passion", "Babbling Bishop Blueberry" and other winners...Too bad, Laz...

He probably alarmed too many church officials by suggesting the nuns should wear miniskirts and habits that would highlight their cleavage.

That might be a little harsh. As a Catholic who certainly has failings, I am counting on a merciful God.

Looks like the Pope caught on early to the New York Slimes, Washington Compost, LA Slimes, and other left wing pinko papers with an agenda driven mission to misreport.

It's one thing to suffer from human frailty, quite another to engage in the process of furthering evil in the world.
Frailty is understandable, purposeful slander and falsehoods are not.

Whoops. Maybe I should not have referred to Hillary as "Satan's Daughter."

I really like this guy, and I'm Catholic,
That would be "NOT Catholic"...
The Church is waiting with open arms if you wish to make your first statement true. :-)

The Church is waiting with open arms if you wish to make your first statement true. :-)Thank you, we are making sure that my children are raised that way as their mother is Catholic. Peer pressure! Peer pressure! ; )
I'm protestant, but I also believe I can serve all Christians, Catholic, Protestant and other of Juedo-Christian pursuasion by being a vocal supporter outside of the Catholic church. It's amazing how often I have to debate in defense of it, which is sad. Right now all of God's children are seeing their favored institutions assaulted by anti-religious forces. It's pretty frightening when you learn the extent.

I really like the Pope, too.
But asking the news media to report responsibly is like asking the Democrats to tell the truth - - it ain't gonna happen.
To: MadIvan
He ought to threaten Catholic journalists who purposefully lie with excommunication. Most journalists aren't Catholic, they're fundimentalist athiests. Their religion is founded on converting people to secularism and has been growing by leaps and bounds among the left. Their rituals include mocking all other religions and religous people. We make a mistake by not recognizing atheism as a religion.

I converted some time ago. My feeling were confirmed when I saw the new slogan of the Methodist Church
Open Hearts,(which I believe in)
Open Minds,(Like Fr Corapi said, you can follow your own conscience, but you will also go to hell)
