If you recommend it, hr, I am doing it. And of course Mark Twain had a pretty sick sense of humor himself. Thanks!!

There were times on the plane that I burst out laughing much to the discomfort of others (I was flying alone).

I suggest the book Shooter about a Marine sniper. It is a good read.

I love when that happens!! Happens to me when I read Wodehouse's "Jeeves" stories. I also commend your choice of "Green Acres." Eb was certainly one of the great fictional creations of TV (and Mr. Kimball was cool, too.)

3) Star Trek or X-Files
4) Sean Connery
5) Isaac Asimov (but I could name a dozen)
6) Hercule Poirot

Okay, we're in the middle of a holiday weekend, and I'm bored Then go out to one of the great events that tribute the Fourth of July or better yet go out a volunteer to help with an event that tributes the Fourth of July.

Best Shakespeare Play: "Henry IV: Part I" the scene in the tavern where Falstaff plays up his gifts and talents to Hal is comic genius.
Best Shakespeare Movie: "Henry V" by Kenneth Branaugh. The St. Crispin's Day Speech is reason enough to buy this movie.

Where can this be seen on cable tv?*Live Thread* -- 7/3/05 NASA "Deep Impact" Comet
I'll be offline, though. We have an observatory handy, some cameras, and our own telescope set up there. Unfortunately no internet access. Bummer. So if we don't see it live, I'll have to wait until I get back to the house to see the reruns. :-/
