Well maybe you need to do some research, she was prided as a top gun, now gone. Women should never be in combat, the changed after I retired screwed up the now PC military.
Nah - it took us three weeks to upgrade their new 220's to airshow configuration - as opposed to the 4 months they told us it would take.
Darn. I was hoping it was John McCain or Chuck Hagle bailing out.

Well, she wasn't flying the plane in this event.
Methinks you have issues. Here's a link that might help:

Roger that
I was priveledged to see one of the Thunderbirds first performances with the F-16. It was at Norton AFB, in San Bernadino, CA, in 1983, I think.
I was in the USAF at the time, working in the base communications center, so I was able to see the complete frag of their flight from George AFB. They were going to do a low level flight around San Bernadino, and the time at the checkpoints was included in the frag.
I got out to as close to the flightline as I was allowed in time to see them pop up over the crest of the San Bernadino Mountains, and then dive down to the deck. Several minutes later they re-appeared above the palm trees over the county lockup and buzzed the runway at 500mph, right on time.
I saw Fat Albert leave during an airshow and fly all the way to the west coast to get an available engine then back to have it installed and ready for a 3pm show.
Nah - they carry spares for that purpose - and if it came down to it, they'd pull a motor from one of the air spares and fly with that. They had pretty much unfettered access to our spare line at Nellis - but they also flew with one or two spare engines as well.
Got to see them perform almost every day during winter season from 1984-1994 at Nellis. My shop did all the heavy (read dirty) engine maintenance for them. They'd come up once in awhile to see what it was like, and as soon as they realized it was dirty, they'd go back to their hangar. Two of the non-comms I worked with had been on the team, and offered to recommend me if I wanted to join - but I had made the mistake of having just gotten engaged. Should have broken that off and joined the Team instead. Come to think of it - there's a lot of things I should have done instead...
The Blues use old F/A-18A aircraft that have been retired from frontline service. The A models are lighter and more maneuverable than the new C and E models.
It also deflects criticism since they aren't using new aircraft that should be the sharp end of the stick.
That was some time ago. How about the "Killer Chick", aka KC, aka Kim Campbell, who brought this A-10 back with a whole bunch of holes from AAA in the tail section? Landed it without hydraulics. Which means no speed brake, no wheel brakes, and no nose wheel steering.
"KC" and her Hog. After delivering her ordnance on target in Baghdad of course. Her father is a California politico.
You have much better taste in eyewear than Brains, though.
There is always one in a million, the A-10 isn't a F-14 or 15, the A-10 was built to take a lot of hits, she did good.
He has boom envy.
LOL!
