This another one of those Democrats that we from Indiana have elected for years while we elect Republicans for other offices. The same kind of thing that put Evan Bayh in office. It just irritates the hell out of me. Anyway, I think ole Lee Baby is dreaming.

The Democratic Party, he said, is responsible for social programs such as Social Security. Yes, and they'll be responsible for the tax increases that will be passed in the next few years to delay its bankruptcy, as well as the ultimate bankruptcy itself.

but only if members adjust to the times and use all their tools to emphasize their platform. They still don't seem to understand they have no platform. Social Security was what - 50-60 years ago? The only thing I have seen them speak out on is gay marriage and the right to die - from embryo to senior citizen. Perhaps this is tacit admission that death is better than living with their social programs?

Another delusion from the Democrats who have been predicting great victories for their party in each election cycle since the year 2000. These idiots have declared their early fake victories and have had their fake orgasm thousands of times since the year 2000.

The way things are going right now, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a pendulum shift in 2006 and 2008. Bush's numbers are extremely weak, and he's done a poor job of rallying the base. We'll have to see what happens as the elections near.

Our local Democrat Mayor got Hamilton here to speak so that more money could be donated for a Senior Citizens Center. The local seniors around here are the most vocal and the most active. They've raised $500,000 out of an estimated $8 million. That means the rest will be payed for by city taxes. If the senior citizens want a center, then let them pay for it. These seniors are trying to bleed the last they can before Social Security goes under.

Discontent with the Republican Party is giving Democrats a good chance to earn big victories in the 2006 and 2008 elections, according to former U.S. Rep. Lee Hamilton, D-Ind. Since the demoncrats have defined not winning as a "victory," they can't lose.
