Not sure about the Antartica comment, but you know accommodations on a cruise ship would provide privacy and better food than they are getting now at a minimum.
My daughter has gone on the ship out of Galveston twice and they are luxurious floating palaces. Not a bad place to stay for the next few weeks or months while you get your feet on the ground so to speak.
