And one of the most horrible things is that for a couple of generations Kinsey has been touted to the public as a valid researcher - seeker of truth. His twisted and foul view of human sexuality has been largely accepted, thus he bears much responsiblity for the mess as described in the article.

Whichever "professional" academicians and psychologists or psychiatrists who knew or know of how Kinsey got his "research information" and still accepted his conclusions or research as valid are just as loathesome as Kinsey himself.

I used to have some links to Dr. Judith Reisman's website, but can't find them at the moment. If anyone has links to her, post 'em. She's done heroic research on Kinsey.

We're fighting a losing battle to keep our children innocent. But I'll keep up the fight til the day I die.

Me too, count me in. If I may have a Michael Savage type moment here, I think one day, this slouching towards Gommorah will be fixed either by the people themselves saying, enough is enough and/or some "Anakin Skywalker" will rise up and we will have a more authoritinarian system to set things right. In the latter, it can be dangerous depending on this "Anakin's" motivations, if he has the general interests of the people and the country at heart with the intentions of letting up once things are fixed, then it would be for the good and I can support that. However, sadly, even with good intentions, things can get corrupted and you could end up with a dictator out for himself. The bad thing is that it is usually the latter, with human nature and all. I think with the assault from the left, the media, the PC movement, the tolerate deviancy stuff and so on, it will be our downfall, one way or another. A mushy society cannot survive for long. Look at Europe, it could turn into Eurabia.

A couple of quotes that support your statements:

"[O]ur ancestors established their system of government on morality and religious sentiment. Moral habits, they believed, cannot safely be trusted on any other foundation than religious principle, nor any government be secure which is not supported by moral habits."
-- Daniel Webster, American Jurist and Senator

"The only assurance of our nation's safety is to lay our foundation in morality and religion."
-- Abraham Lincoln

"History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster." -- General Douglas MacArthur

"If men will not be governed by the Ten Commandments, they shall be governed by the ten thousand commandments." --G. K. Chesterton

Is there any real reason I should not consider this an outrageous accusation?

It's my observation as I have followed my own time at the university, and what is happening in Europe and the United States. Part and parcel of political correctness is to accept the beliefs and practices of other cultures. In the USA and Europe, it has brought us to the brink of destruction. We say "Islam is Peace" despite all of the historical evidence to the contrary. We refuse to search mosques - which house a 5th column - we refuse to racially profile middle eastern men even though they constitute the vast majority of the terrorists. Europe has its own problems with its muslim populations and couuntries like Denmark are rethinking after the slaughter of one of their prominent citizens on the street. And that's just the muslim element of the salad bowl. I could go on and on about other cultures like Mexicans who come to America and fly the Mexican flag (been to Santa Ana, CA lately?), hiss and boo the US soccer team at the LA Coliseum, and on and on. Many of these cultures come here and keep their own culture - it's a recipe for disaster. Multiculturalism militates against the "E. pluribus Unim" motto. I could go on and on.

I completely agree with your last post. Virtue and morality are essential for national survival, and those cannot be found outside of religious principle (and i don't mean islamic religious principle).

There are only two authorities in regard to knowing what is true - what is right and wrong, moral and immoral.

1. God

2. One's own mind.

Even accepting another's ideas is within the purview of one's own mind; since I can accept or reject someone else's conclusions freely.

This topic is vitally important and everyone concerned with not only their own well being but that of the country (and indeed, the world) should be considering this. If God is the Author of truth, then He decides what is right and wrong. My own mind doesn't need to weigh and judge or figure out the rules, just needs to figure out how to apply the rules in different circumstances.

If my own mind is the arbiter, then I - and everyone around me - is in for a wild, wild ride. The nature of the mind is that it is unstable and flickering - deciding on one path or truth today, and tomorrow rejecting what it already decided, switching gears so to speak, and jerking me around in another direction. Or pulling me in several directions at once - that's when people feel like "I'm going crazy! My mind's going crazy!"

And moral absolutes are not sectarian, they are universal.

Agreed. If the people as a self regulating society cannot or will not for whatever reasons police or regulate themselves (as they should and have with general success until the 1960's), then as I like to say, "nature abhores a vacuum" and something will come in to fill that need. I'm not saying that what we have before was perfect but it did the job much better. I was listening to Glenn Beck (as I am now to his replays), he said one day, "we need to get back to the America we had under the 48 star flag."

"Tolerance doesn't mean acceptance, it means 'putting up with'".

That sounds like genuine south park/clown posse troll logic.

Should we tolerate pedophiles, pederasts, rapists, etc, etc as well??

Another FReeper said it best (can't recall the name) -- "Libertarian: the alignment of one's self with perversion and evil in the name of freedom" PUKE!!

I see her as someone who isn't tainted with political correctness, and not ashamed to speak the truth.

It would be nice to see the same attitude from the mainstream media journalists. Don't hold your breath.

Often unpleasant truths need to be stated without dancing around. For instance, homosexual activists stated in "After the Ball" (I used to have a summary, it's on FR somewhere) that it was very important to their strategy of gaining acceptance to NEVER talk about or show what they actually do, sexually. Why? Because normal people would be so revolted and horrified that they would never be tolerant or accepting of homosexuality.

Since Kinsey has been extremely influential and is still accepted as an authority - with a movie made of him recently, where he was portrayed as some kind of hero - it's very important that people see him for the perverted fraud that he was.

If they don't read the plain truth about him, how will they know?

The lie that free sex is free has done grievous harm to millions, and not just physcial illness or death. Hearts broken, hearts hardened, consciences dulled, drugs and alcohol abused to stifle the memories and the disgust, and the vast numbers of children either killed before birth or born to unwed mothers - considered "accidents" instead of precious gifts - cannot be estimated.

Overwhelmed with your comments.

Superior!

Common sense rules.

That was horrible stuff in that article.

Once again jeremiah, a beam of light for moral absolutes.

What's really amazing is the people who think we're the ones out of synch with reality. People who think that "right" and "wrong" change with the passage of time, like weather, or leaves turning colors.

"Well, it used to be wrong to have sex with 20 boyfriends before age 20, but now it's cool".

And I say this from the vantage point of someone who really went to the depths of some pretty dangerous and shameful behavior, learned my lesson, and can see things a lot more clearly. I look back on my life and see some wrecks along the way, with many sad tales, narrow escapes and bitter regrets.

If anything I say can help even one person learn to avoid the pitfalls of instant gratification, or following the herd because everyone else is going that way, withstand being pressued into wrong just in order to feel liked or accepted, or gain a little inner conviction that God does exist, and it does matter to Him what choices we make - I'll be happy.

Is the universe helping me, or what?

Regarding my point about homosexuals, for instance, not wanting to make public what actually makes them homosexuals and not normal people, from the book I mentioned:

"This manipulative method is described in After the Ball, a 1989 book by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, two public relations experts who taught homosexual activists how to achieve societal desensitization and to "jam" anyone opposing them.

And when we say talk about homosexuality, we mean just that. In the early stages of the campaign, the public should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself."9 "
