MD4Bush, "Phonyheit", and other speculation

"Currently, Kathleen is dividing her time between California and Washington, D.C. as she is working on a "secret" project. More to come later . . ."

On October 27, 2004 NCPAC made a playful remark regarding the so objective and award-winning movie "Fahrenheit 9-11". Interestingly, it was contained in a thread started by a presumably unwitting troll (now banned). That thread survived.

Perhaps to establish a false identity at FR, MD4BUSH responded lightly to NCPAC's posting not only by calling Senator Mikulski "a lezbo" (like a good tolerant democrat), he or she also used an interesting neologism to describe Michael Moore's movie: "Phonyheit".

As in "Phonyheit 9-11", of course. Of course?

No, not of course. The term is rather unique: a Google search reveals only two main sources for it. One must conclude that it is not standard language for any forum in the vast reaches of Google, nor even within the crucible of conservative opinion, FreeRepublic, where playful words are coined daily - and often spread (search FR keyword: phonyheit... Results: 0).

Besides MD4BUSH's post, the only other notable use of "Phonyheit" comes from a purported conservative contributor to The San Francisco Examiner, Kathleen Antrim. After reading that sentence repeatedly, one may find obvious cause to probe deeper....

CAPITAL OFFENSE - A Novel By Kathleen Antrim

According to Kathleen Antrim, the genesis for this fast-paced suspense story was Hillary Rodham Clinton’s demand to have a West Wing office after her husband was elected president.

President Bill Clinton Meets Author Kathleen Antrim:

Author Kathleen Antrim met and discussed her political thriller, CAPITAL OFFENSE, with former President Bill Clinton, Thursday at Book Expo America in Chicago.

"CAPITAL OFFENSE was inspired by Hillary," Antrim told him, "and I hope you both enjoy reading it."

From the NewsMax archives:

Would you vote for Hillary Clinton for president?

President Hillary Clinton – wow, interesting concept! To date, I've attended many book clubs and no one has been able to identify my political leanings by reading the book. I count this as a compliment, because I really wanted this book to be nonpartisan, and it seems I've succeeded.

I've gotten controversy and accusations from both sides of the political coin. Some claim that my book champions Hillary, others think I’m slamming her. Of course, the character is not meant to be her at all.

And as your question [implies], she has parlayed her power into a successful senatorial seat and is positioning herself to run for the presidency. By the way, according to my sources, this has always been the plan. First, Bill would be president and then they'd work to put her there.

I did hope that “Capital Offense” would be thought-provoking and cause the American public to consider the role of the first lady or first spouse, and whether or not this job should be regulated.

What’s really interesting is that if Hillary were elected we’d not only have our first Madam President but the first First Spouse in President (he retains his title) Bill Clinton. As I’ve stated before, the First Spouse position is accountable to no one and completely under the radar screen, with an immense amount of influence and power.

This causes me to wonder a few things like: What would the rest of the world think to have President Bill Clinton back in the White House? The ex-president knows all of the classified secrets, how would this affect his role as First Spouse? Should this role be accountable to an entity other than the president? As you can see, there are a lot of questions that come with such a scenario.

But as to whether I'd vote for Hillary, well, I'd say read the book and see if you can guess my answer.

"Would you vote for Hillary Clinton for president?"

I count 17 sentences of not answering. The "conservative answer" would have involved genuine laughter, followed by a stern "No."

Interesting that Kathleen Antrim has made at least one friendly visit to FR, in March 2005 - for a grand total of one post (eh... like me).

In any case, I began this episode by simply cut-and-pasting MD4BUSH's entire posting history into a word processor, then highlighting all of the misspellings (there were several, including "diginity", "hillarious", "Chenney", and "Spector" for example... and "phonyheit"). I then began Googling various combinations of these words - subtracting out "MD4BUSH" to make life easier - figuring that the author may possibly have repeated them in some other forum. There were many interesting leads... I even tried some "whois" look-ups, but the only interesting hit was this Kathleen Antrim, an occasional contributor to NewsMax. (Just not a very strong one, in my opinion.)

Do I think that Kathleen Antrim is remotely related to MD4BUSH? No. There is simply no evidence but the circumstances I have outlined here.

I do enjoy a good mystery however.

The real question should be who is deflion1? A lot of insight for someone who joined today.

I wrote a lot of stuff.... here's it in a nutshell:

Google MD4BUSH's misspellings. You may be able to identify the person that way.

The mods had it under review. His response to me in post 8 is quite interesting though.
