Bump to that!
From that page. That's enough for me! (TO AVOID that place) But on top of that they seem to endorse... just about everything but fundamental Christianity.
http://www.ccci.org/wij/
"God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life"
"Man is sinful and separated from God, therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life."
"Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life."
Right out of Warren's playbook. No wrath of God, eternal condemnation, hell... *this* is why I can't stand Warren. It's half truths that end up filling the church with people who think they believe but really haven't made a total commitment to Christ because they don't really understand the severity of the problem of our sin and God's wrath.
This is a good line though from his "Thank God for America" page:
"Judging American Christianity by its televangelists is a bit like judging British culture by Benny Hill."
His anti gay marriage page, upon a cursory examination, only seems to present what each 'group' in the argument believes, doesn't really say what his church or he personally believes...
He has a page on Israel and it doesn't *seem* virulently anti Israel...what did you find?
I have seen him branding Israel as promoting apartheid blah blah blah. For instance, there is a page like this:

spot on
Benny Hill, Benny Hinn...what's the difference, anyway?
A lot of people thought Bill Clinton was a Christian because he carried a Bible around.
Exactly!
Well, nowadays, shallow appearances is what it's all about. Fill out your SHAPE questionnaire and voila, you're a mature believer! Take Class 301 and you're qualified to lead!
...Or bow at the pastor's feet, rather than to God. Here's a new twist: A local pastor won't let any staffer quit, or he refuses to give a good recommendation. They can only leave on the pastor's terms, because he doesn't want to look bad...
Controlling? Yikes!
Rick Warren is supposed to be on Nightline 2-3-06 discussing his takeover of Rwanda.
I hope you filled in our media friend on that one.
Haven't heard anything in several days...
