I'll support Bush's amnesty program when the Republican Congress passes legislation demanding reparations from Mexico for all the illegals they have allowed to sneak across our borders.

I don't think Chertoff is being used to hawk amnesty. After six years of Bush, it's clear he will never give up on the amnesty plan. I still don't get why Big Business wants amnesty so bad, when the status quo seems to working just fine for them.

My first job at 15 was as a busboy. I had a blast.

I wish some of these idiots who are for allowing illegals into our country had to come live around them in the real world for a while. I guarantee you that their attitude would change. I never thought Chertoff was very bright and this just proves that I was right in my assessment of him.

I'm really tired of the doubletalk, "guest workers, not an amnesty." The former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt said recently that Germany's biggest mistake after WWII was to bring in guest workers (Gastarbeiter.)

Clearly, Chertoff like Bush, are open border libertarians.

Clearly, Chertoff like Bush, are cheap labor disciples.

they don't discuss it, because they know the general legal population will go crazy over the whole thing...

The only thing that will get through to them is a big loss in November.

Bingo! Screw the GOP--they're screwing us.

I really wish that the dishonest little man in the White House would stop trying to abolish our country in favor of his dreamed-of "Amerexico".

A litany of good reasons to stay in bed. Thanks. I might add that there is no longer any reason to give anyone any money for political reasons.

The Globalist marches on. He's doing everything he can to destroy our borders and our sovereignty.

You would think we elected him President of Mexico and/or Saudi Arabia. He's has never met an Arab or a Mexican he didn't like and want in the U.S.legal or otherwise.

To heck with the security of the American peasants, they don't know what's good for them, just keep the Arab oil flowing and the U.S. flooded with cheap labor to keep wages and benefits down.

He wants his global community run by the rich business elites and they want a planet with no borders stocked with slave or cheap labor to serve their needs.

This is one thing I never hear the amnesty pushers discuss. The instant illegal aliens gain legal status they are then legally entitled to a plethora of public benefits. This will amount to probably hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars nationwide worth of services and benefits to which, of course, they will immediately avail themselves. Where is this money supposed to come from?

They will just dig deeper into OUR pockets. Meanwhile, our senoir CITIZENS can't afford their medications and us peons that are barely getting by now will have even less to get by on and eventually we will be filing for assistance, as well. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, doesn't work forever. Eventually, Peter won't have anything to be robbed of.

This is a very narrow understanding of national security. The impact of millions of undereducated, unassimilating people is just as much a threat to our national security, considering their cultural and economic impact, as that of violent terrorists. Perhaps worse, in the long run.

This is a weapon of modern warfare. The people bomb. Very effective against a more powerful foe in a PC world.

The Muslims have used it very well around the world for years and the Mexicans have caught on.

You just flood the target country with your own people who do not assimilate but retain their national identity and remake the target country into their own.

A political correct superpower's army is effectively neutered. Especially one who is controlled by the business leaders of the country and who lust for all that cheap labor and increased profits.

Don't be fooled as we have been before.

If they want to stop it they'll take some type of physical action at the border.

If they don't want to, they will just talk a lot, have some meetings and pass some meaningless legislation that they have no intention of enforcing just so they can get through another election cycle.

We are so gullible.

BY ALL MEANS VOTE, BUT NOT FOR DEMS OR PUBS.

The REPUBLOCRATS are both implementing the NWO we need new blood.

To insure government by the people POLITICAL PARTIES SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

Look at this to see how the wishes of the people are being ignored. DHS' EXPEDITED REMOVAL DECEPTION CONTINUES

EXCERPT: Unfortunately, as I’ve written again and again, the much loved (by real immigration reformers) but hated and feared (by the Treason Lobby) immigration bill, H.R. 4437, passed last year by the House of Representatives, actually undercuts the 1996 expedited removal authority already on the books. It only allows the summary removal of illegal aliens found within 100 miles of a land border within 14 days of entry...the same standard already implemented in limited regulations by the DHS.

A verifiable, enforceable ID system and indemnifying employers so that they can accurately check validity could potential stop illegal immigration in its tracks.

I agreed with everything you wrote in your post but it still seemed like you missed my point.

The President and Chertoff keep talking about IDs for guest workers. That is not going to solve anything because if an illegal is not a guest worker they are going to keep on doing what they are right now which is using a fake Social Security Card.

Verifiable IDs for guest workers will not accomplish anything until the IDs of ALL prospective employees, including citizens, are verified. As you say, this is the secret to the whole illegal mess.
