Looks like you have to hit the below link (i.e federal office) twice to get the primary results. Polls close at 10:00 PM EDT(8:00 PM MDT)
I tried to link a direct link but it doesn't seem to work.
But they are capable of distinguishing between policies they agree with, and policies they do not. By and large they do not agree with Bush's open borders amnesty approach to solving the problem.
By being the point man for the administration disasterous and misguided attempts to remedy the illegal immigration problem by encouraging even more illegal immigration, Cannon has painted a big red X on his back in the Third Congressional District. He has been humiliated by being forced into a primary and he came whisker close to losing at convention to a political neophyte.
If he wins tonight, his opposition will simply regroup and go right back on the offensive tomorrow. If he doesn't lose tonight I predict he will lose at convention in 2008.
He deserves to lose. He got arrogant and thought he was smarter than the people he was elected to represent. Too bad, so sad.
I know, thanks..
That's what floors me about some on FR. Cannon voted for H.R. 4437 and J.D. Hayworth voted against it and the tancredo/bay buchanan PAC goes after Cannon.
That's not bad gerrymandering if at all. The only thing that catches my eye is that they wanted to break up the Salt Lake City area.
and, it's dark until well past 8 a.m. in the dead of winter.
That's what he says now, just like he says against in-state tuition for illegals while he sponsors legislation for it.
Your guy is probably going to win but amnesty is dead, that's all that counts.
And do what, start campaigning for his Democrat challenger?
Where is the other 3% in that total. The official site has it at about 56% to 44%
55% to 41% in a two-candidate race?
Hayworth voted against it because it wasen't tough enough!!
Nah, they just sliced off a couple of very conservative suburbs. The "Tories" of the place live elsewhere in Salt Lake County.
Most of the country don't actually consider immigration the only (or biggest) issue, and many of Cannon's supporters probably don't care a great deal about his position one way or the other.
Wasn't this the premier of their Diebold Electronic Voting system?
Dumbest post of the day. Without doubt. Unquestionably. Certifiably.
I hope they don't do it here. If they lose the primary then either support the winner or campaign against the winner some place else.
They can cast protest votes for the Constitution Party candidate.
You know, I took the Jacob supporters at their word that they wanted to deal with this through the party, but they're such bad losers and they're part of the standard third-party crowd. Not that I'm terribly surprised, mind you.
Your man is probably going to win but amnesty is dead so try not to feel too bad about it.
