Today in north Georgia, DEA agents swept down on a house after learning that the suspects who had been growing pot in a nearby field were staying in the house. What they found inside the home turned out to be the "mother load".
Inside the home they found the largest stash of Methamphetamine in US history. Agents estimate the street value of the meth at $50 million. This bust comes only a few weeks after another meth bust in Georgia which ranked in the top ten in US history.
The suspects in both drug busts have been apprehended. Much to everyones surprise (sarc), they are all Illegal Aliens. I guess they were doing jobs American's won't do.

Most meth is now made down in Mexico in superlabs and smuggled in over the border.

How so, since San Antonio-Dallas will open in 2015, but the extension south to Laredo won't be built until after 2025, and no new border crossing is planned? Or was that just another ignorant '6 Degrees of Mexico' comment with the same level of facts and logical analysis as the DU crowd uses when it declares that everything is Rove's/Bush's fault?
Illegal aliens are the problem, but not everything that has the slightest tangential connection to Mexico is a part of that problem. Wanna blame Taco Bell, too?
I have many friends, or ex-friends I should say, in that area that have fallen to this drug recently. The guys have a little bit more time than the girls it appears. Not that it makes any difference but the girls are toast after the first time. The guys seem to think they can keep it together for a while and then BAM!
Full disclosure: I am a former rock musician and I have had vast experience in these matters. People can say what they want about drugs I don't care, I have seen this stuff do people in that were recreational drug users for years.

Mexico is indeed the problem. If Mexico had it's own house in order there would be no "illegal" problem.

Actually, it is a surprise that it involves illegal aliens. Meth manufacturing has swept southern Oklahoma. Almost everyone there does it, makes it, or lives with someone who does.
Two arrested, two sought in meth bust
ATLANTA Federal authorities announced today that two men have been arrested and two more are being sought following the seizure of more than 300 pounds of methamphetamine in northeast Georgia.
U-S Attorney David Nahmias' (NAH'-mee-as) office said in a statement that authorities seized 341 pounds of meth in Gainesville on August 21st and 22nd.
The investigation began when U-S Forest Service officials spotted four people cultivating a marijuana field inside Chattahoochee National Forest in Union County.
Authorities searched a house connected to the suspects where they found the meth. The investigation turned up 300 marijuana plants.
Two people were arrested and two others are considered fugitives.
