http://conservativepresident2008.blogspot.com/2006/12/constitution-party-to-select-candidate.html

The Constitution Party, a conservative third party founded in 1992 to serve as a possible ticket for Pat Buchanan to run on, plans to have nominated its candidate for President by July 2007, World Net Daily reports.

The party held a national committee meeting last weekend where Howard Phillips, who is the party's founder and three time Presidential candidate (1992, 1996 and 2000), told World Net Daily "The time has never been better for a third party dark horse candidate to grab the White House."

Phillips said that the party will nominate candidate next year and among the possibilities are: Jim Gilchrist, former Republican presidential candidate Alan Keyes, Pastor Chuck Baldwin and World Net Daily columnist Jerome Corsi.

I remind you that no foreign enemy of the United States has inflicted more damage inside our borders than Al Qaeda. The fight against jihadi terrorists is absolutely the most significant in our history. If we lose, we lose everything.

BINGO! You got it! Good job figuring this complex, perplexing paradox out for yourself!

Now, please just format your sentences a bit. it is much easier to read without having vision problems.

By the way, WELCOME to Free Republic!

My many relatives who have served in Iraq and still will be have no problem doing what is right.

You are wound to tight, no one is asking you to serve.
Just let us who want to win the war do so.

Funny, I have never seen Tom threaten to run as a third party candidate. I've never seen him say strongly negative things about other Republicans. He seems to push for his views on the issues that are important to him, but apparently a lot of people in his district agree with him.

You pretty much nailed it, we might as well form a new party for every single issue.

There could be the Illegal Immigrant Party, the Pro Life Party, the Doper Party, (OOPS we already have that; the Libertarian Party) But you get my drift....We sure won't get very far that way will we?

Oh for the love of Gibberish you linked me to a spin article. I listened to the hearings myself what was televised. You linked me up to an editorial A Now what John Roberts meant to say was this type of article. The DEMS also used those tactics for years in the MSM.

Listen I've been following the GOP, DEMs, and the Constitution Party politics a long time. I'm not a mushroom so don't try to feed me as such. Look at the replies. Even the ones who dislike the CP aren't biting on your post. So long.

That's all any of us here hope for. Sure, the Party has it's shortcomings, but with the right people who can influence people, it can become the Party we dream of.

The Honorable Mr. Reagan was known for his ability to compromise as well as persuade people to join his side. (Some of them almost miraculous) He did it by listening to everyones point of view and then by showing them that he understood their position. He would them convince them that his position made the most sense.

He also stressed that by being disrespectful and belligerent, it only hardened people in their resolve and made it impossible to reach them after that.

and I'm very discouraged at the Rudy/Romney bashing here on FR.

Some have seemed to have made it their life's work, even insinuating that either Mitt or his supporters are gay.

It makes me sick, even if the ones doing it are the real losers on this forum.
