At the top of the hour I just heard ABC news report the latest "Ann flap", they didn't even have their facts straight! As usual, pushing the "lieberal" agenda.

Ponch and Jon take a moment to discuss the "Faggot" remark by Ann.

If she had used the word, Shirtlifter instead, they would have thought she was equating him with Clintoooon, and that would really have brought the house down.

Edwards' dropping out will happen, regardless of what Anne may or may not say.

Gore's dropping in, may happen, again, regardless of what Anne may or may not say.

Anne has uttered plenty over the years, and her utterances have swayed national political movements how far in either direction??

Please, in the backdrop of what is said every day, in the actual halls of congress, by "our" representatives who place political power far ahead of the security of this nation, her words are no more than passing gas in the wind.

Those who continuously give weight, political upheaval weight, to her utterances really should get out more, and listen to the discourse out there.

They would truly have their blood boil, and perhaps redirect their fire to those more deserving.

I surmise you have been brain washed with Political Correctness. Ann's comment was arguably stupid, but I cannot see how it is hateful.

Maybe you should look up the word "hate" in the dictionary.

People whine bitch and complain about every little thing.

Who cares what someone called someone else. Had she attacked him with a baseball bat I'd be concerned. She didn't. Furthermore, the only crime she's probably guilty of is telling the truth.

To hell with what the politicians say.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it invigorating and refreshing that Ann's comments have at least temporarily distracted the the Giuliani Groupies at FR and kept the annoying Rudy spam to minimum for the last few hours.

But, on the other hand Ann Coulter keeps the sea lanes of free speech open against the forces of fascist pc. That is where she is very important.

Great analogy, 'cause when those 'lanes' close, the thought police will be out in droves- just 'following orders'.

From here:

http://www.cwfa.org/articles/318/CFI/cfreport/index.htm

Excerpt:

According to the Times, Giuliani has attended every “gay pride” parade in
New York during his eight years as mayor. In 1992, during his first run for
mayor, Giuliani took part in a homosexual “pride” parade that included a
contingent of pedophile activists marching behind a banner for NAMBLA (North
American Man/Boy Love

Then, from here:

http://users.rcn.com/kyp/sos.html
Spirit of Stonewall

Excerpt:

the organizing committee of Stonewall 25 is dominated by those intent on
imposing political censorship. To march in the parade, groups must take the
equivalent of a loyalty oath. They must pledge their support for
age-of-consent laws. Any group that favors the abolition of these laws has
been denied permission to march. The obvious intent of this ruling is to
keep the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) out of the parade,
presumably from a desire to avoid bad publicity. But it galls me that people
are being excluded not for what they do but for what they think.

Which of these members voted to allow NAMBLA to march under their own
banner? And what does NAMBLA being part of Stonewall MEAN?

From John Edwards campaign website -

Friday afternoon, Republican mouthpiece Ann Coulter

She is not a Republican mouthpiece. The statement is false. The author probably knows that it is false, i.e., it is a lie. This statement in itself is more offensive than Ann’s hint that Edwards may be gay - “not that there is anything wrong with that.”

"I don't agree. Reagan brought real social conservatives to the Party. Your man was Goldwater. That's the standard you are looking for. You want a Goldwater party."

Not really sure about Goldwater. What I want is inclusiveness and understanding that not every Republican is a Conservative. Some are pro-choice, some could care less about gay marriage, some want government to be more involved in helping the citizens who cannot help themselves.

However, all are concerned that we remain a strong and free nation, with a strong leader and solid business ties as well as the willingness to allow people to decide for themselves how they want to live their lives.

A good portion of this nation want this and the ideology that best sells their message to the moderates will be the ones in office in 08. The Libs are selling it. The Conservatives won't.

This sort of response ONLY hurts the politician making it and raises Ann Coulter's stature.

Raises Ann Coulter's stature?!? That's just crazy talk, man. Ann lowered herself to their level and his moaning and complaining does nothing to change that.

The LCR works very hard supporting and growing the Republican Party.

The LCR are a bunch of homosexual activists whose main goal is to water down the GOP and make it indistinguishable from the Dems

Coulter, on the other hand, has no agenda aside from celebrity.

Coulter is probably the most influential conservative after Rush
