From john edwards campaign website -
Friday afternoon, Republican mouthpiece Ann Coulter brought hate-speech politics to a new low.
This video shows Coulter addressing the American Conservative Union's Political Action Conference, March, 2, 2007 in Washington, D.C.
We must show that inflaming prejudice to attack progressive leaders will only backfire.
Can you help us raise $100,000 in "Coulter Cash" this week to keep this campaign charging ahead and fight back against the politics of bigotry?

Friday afternoon, Republican mouthpiece Ann Coulter brought hate-speech politics to a new low. Ann Coulter has no capacity whatsoever as a representative of the GOP, or conservatives for that matter.

people say that the "dinosaur media" is dying, but it's quite alive.
witness my neighbors who sit on their butts all day, eating, and watching tv and they believe everything they see on the stupid box.
and, they're ANGRY!
my neighbor went off on me last night about the iraq war.
yes, thanks to the incompetence of rumsfeld and bush and cheney the next u.s. president will be a democrap.

I agree, Coulter stepped over the line.
It's important that Republicans and conservatives send a message that we are not a party of hate.
She has no idea how much damage she has caused with her stupid remarks.

Ann tells it like it is. Old testament prophets were hated for the same reason.

C'mon - one of the meanings of "faggot" in English usage refers to an effeminate man. The Democratic Party is full of Breck Girls who pretend to be men. As a joke, it leaves something to be desired but Ann Coulter is right John Edwards is a phony. You won't see the Democrats check into rehab anytime soon for not figuring out how to be real men. Even conservatives don't get it and I'm disappointed in them.

Name-calling is petty, self-indulgent, counter-productive. I should know--I've done it. It's a loser.

Thank you, Ann!! I love you!
Read the quote again and place into context. People hear what they want to hear, especially the propaganda media and Dems. It's brilliant.
People are afraid of words. They fear words. Pathetic. This is the perfect example of the evil of political correctness. Ann scored a grand slam, and many don't even realize it.

Why the HELL does Edwards need $100,000 or someone else's money if he can build that huge house he can afford $100,000 of his own money. This just a stupid effort to get money for his campaign. But I agree it was quite below the belt for Ann to say this.

I guess I'm an uncouth Republican, because I thought it was funny. Republicans act like there are Queensbury rules for a street fight. Democrats seem to have no such inhibitions, and as a result, they win a lot more than their bankrupt policies justify.

Even though I disagree with Ms. Coulter comments, I'm going to give this the same amount of attention the MSM gave the hate-speech that the two bloggers who worked for John Edwards produced.

Maybe he can give Ann a fat commission.

I thought dear Ann was a BIT nasty about continuing to talk about candles the night she was on H & C and Ed B and his wife were on with her. She had so much other ammo (like the Crawford Ranch being so green) that she didn't need to keep hammering a clearly simplistic point.
My concern is that she is falling into a Dem trait---symbolism over substance. Ann is too smart and can fill the room with substance (facts)...she shouldn't resort all her talents to symbolism. She's better than that.
Ann's smart enough to work with facts and not over sensationalize, but then...sensationalism is all that counts in the media anymore. I guess we can't blame Ann for that...now, CAN we?
AND...Thanks for my new tag line, Ann!!!
