The communist, pro-terrorist group International ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) seems to realize they are facing a hot LZ on March 17.
ANSWER has made significant changes in their plans since their initial announcement that they would hold their antiwar rally at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Last week they changed the location of their rally from Constitution Gardens (East side of the Vietnam Memorial) to a park one block west of Memorial on Henry Bacon Drive.
Yesterday, ANSWER announced they are only going to use the Henry Bacon Drive park as a meeting point for their march to the Pentagon, rather than holding a rally there.
This does not change our plans at all.
While the Gathering of Eagles has put these communist terrorist lovers on the run, the danger to the memorials from ANSWERs fellow travelers is growing. With each passing day, we are receiving reports of threats to desecrate the Vietnam Memorial and other Memorials. We pass this information to the Park Service for investigation.
ANSWER is asking their supporters to start arriving near the Vietnam Memorial at 8 a.m. on the 17th. They plan to start their march to the Pentagon at 12:30 p.m.. That means their people will be milling about for hours with nothing to do and may try to cause trouble.
It is imperative that the Eagles start gathering as early as possible Saturday (0700/7AM) morning and plan to stay all day.
Being that ANSWER has forsaken use of Constitution Gardens, the Gathering of Eagles has applied with the Park Service for a permit to use Constitution Gardens, an excellent location, as our rallying point and base of operations from which to spread out to protect the memorials. The Park Service should be able to tell us tomorrow (Friday) where we stand.
The anti-American left will be scattered around Washington on the 17th. The Fidel Castro groupies and Jane Fonda lovers at Code Pink will be meeting near the World War II Memorial Saturday morning before they join ANSWERs march.
Another leftist group has plans to rally at the Lincoln Memorial near the Korean War Memorial.
When ANSWERs march to the Pentagon is over, many of their people will be heading back across Memorial Bridge to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. We cannot let our guard down all day.
In addition to applying for Constitution Gardens, we have also applied for demonstration areas along ANSWERs march route. Please note that we have advised the Park Service and the Pentagon that we will not be counter-protesting at the Pentagon. We would just be in the way when the leftists start trying to tear down the protective fences and the CS gas starts being used by law enforcement at the Pentagon parking area where the anti-war rally will be held.
Our plans have been slow to announce because ANSWER abuses the Park Services permit process by preventing other groups, like ours, from being able to obtain permits in a timely manner. Rest assured that all will be settled soon and we will soar like Eagles on March 17.
Please review our Mission Statement on www.gatheringofeagles.org to refresh the principles that under-gird Gathering of Eagles event we hold the high ground but will be resolute in protecting our Memorials from desecration, damage, and dishonor.
Eagles Up!
Just a general question I've been wondering about for a while - if the barbarians were to try to profane the Tomb of the Unknowns, what are the ROE of the Tomb Guards in protecting it?
Tomb of the Unknown Anti-American
We'll have details to announce soon. Just waiting on the Park Service to get things right.
Do you think those are toy rifles they are carrying?
The question is, are they allowed to crush skulls and disembowel?
I hope people show up with boom boxes and play ALL the fight songs for the AIR FORCE, ARMY, NAVY, AND MARINES as LOUDLY AS POSSIBLE! Every Patriotic Song ought to be played over and over again ALL day long! Fight these communists with AMERICAN PATRIOTISM!
Exactly, and now the rabble will have several hours of "free time" to try to cause trouble. All the more important for us to be there.
Even if they manage to block permits, I intend to be there to pay my respects at The Wall. I havent needed a permit the last two times, and doubt I will need one this time.
To a man (or woman), everyone I have talked to about March 17th has said the same thing. "Permit or not, I will be there."
See you there, R. Scott!
I would think that if they (or what they are assigned to protect) are attacked, the attack would not last long at all. If you know what I mean.
THEY COME PREPARED TO DO BATTLE and they are well organized.
Seriously, it's not just bandanas over the faces, they have BMX or hockey pads and protection on under their clothes, they bring improvised weapons like D-Cell batteries in socks, flammable liquids in unmarked water bottles, etc.; stuff that can be quickly assembled or disassembled into innocent components carried by multiple persons.
If their target is the Memorial, they will likely create a diversion to get the police away from the Memorial. If they want the Gathering of Eagles folks away, they will create a physical confrontation with them in one area, hoping to draw the rest over and then they'll hit the unprotected area. If you're protecting an area, stay at that area. When your adrenalin gets going, you'll want to go help, DON'T DO IT. The Eagles need to have people free from protection assignments to respond to these diversions so the Memorial is not left unprotected.
They use cell phones, hand radios, police scanners to keep their people informed. They will have folks on bikes or skates so they can move quickly from one spot to another (unprotected) spot.
Oh and most important: As tempting as it will be, do not let the black block folks draw you into any violence. Philosophically, you don't need to lower yourself to their level. Practically of course you can defend yourself, but be forwarned that the black blockers will turn that around on you too.
They will have people whose only job is to get photos and video. Any pics or vids of you defending yourself will never see the light of day. Any pic or video that can be construed as you initiating violence or "over" defending yourself will be on the media and attached to a criminal complaint, a lawsuit, etc.
Because of this it is important for the Eagles folks to have assigned pic and video people too. The black blockers will injure themselves and blame it on you. They will start s--t with you and only film you responding. They have lots of free time to edit their videos and pics then distribute them to anyone who will look.
The DC cops, Capitol Police, and Parks Police already know all this from experience.
I'm on the other side of the country and can't be there. Please pass this info on to the Gathering of Eagles folks. The more prepared they are, the less chance of success from anarchists. It's important they don't succeed because if they do it just emboldens them to stoop even lower for their next "action."

No one has the Constitutional right to desecrate a monument.
LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS!
Our opponents have done all this shifting around of their meeting/rally spots based on what they've been reading here and at the other forums. So I'm betting that's why the planners have kept things off these boards. If you have any more ideas about possible vulnerable memorials and/or ways to protect them, please FREEPMAIL Kristinn and the others;don't post it publicly. Why do the thinking for our opponents?
I strongly advise NOT to put your real name on it, at least not your full name - the moonbats have cameras too.
Yeah, I'm coming on Friday too.
All right!! FReepmail us if you need a ride.
Have a safe trip.

Once, a few years ago, someone tried to get too close to the sarcophagus. He was sabered by the Sergeant of the Guard.
God bless and keep you and all who are answering the call to protect the DC shrines of honor from these pigs. You are all great Americans. I wish I could join you.

Cool! (Sorry, just imagining ANSWER head commie, Brian Becker trying same)
Thanks, Kristinn. I'll stay tuned...
