Misleading article. It costs the same to refine here as anywhere else, I’d bet most of what they pay is taxes. And, considering their self-righteous sanctimony about environmentalism, apparently they love high gas taxes.

well good for them. Those screaming "global warming" the loudest should pay more. Obviously however, it isn't expensive enough for that woman, nor is the enviroment a concern. She just polluted a lake and killed some animals (bugs)

They want to fund the fight of the lie of Global Warming, go right ahead, serves them right, just hope they don't force it on others.
Envirowackos ? Don't complain about high gas prices when your are part of the problem of why gas cost so high.

” Motorists around the world have been paying more for their gasoline over the past month as falling U.S. stocks of the motor fuel have helped to drive up global oil prices. “ figures, blame the US for all their ills instead of looking in the mirror and see were the real problem is.

Non sequiter.

This is actually an article to take up some space and keep those journalism paychecks coming on a semi-regular basis.

I'm not guessing, this article was fudged-up to use this picture of a rather attractive Iranian woman. :^)

most countries economies are (in some ways) based upon the U.S. dollar.

And when you consider that the profit made by the Oil company is 10c/gallon, this puts things in perspective

If you live in England or Norway, you ain’t got anywhere to go anyway, so who cares how much gas costs?

The US could lower its gas prices if we converted our large coal reserves to liquid fuels. At some point that technology will become economically viable. However, the constraints on it besides economics are likely to include CO2 emissions. So once again, a viable energy source is being denied to us as a result of the false claims of anthropogenic global warming.

From that picture, the message of the left wing treasonous media is simple: “See Iran has beautiful woman who can drive and they are not wearing a full veil but only a headscarf. Iran is not so bad after, we should negotiate with them”. That is exactly what the traitorous media want to tell us from pictures like these.
