ABBEVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to having sex and impregnating a then 9-year-old girl. William Edward Ronca, 26, was arrested last year after doctors discovered the girl was at least seven months pregnant.
Ronca pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He will have to serve more than 21 years before he is eligible for parole. The judge gave him five years less than the maximum because he admitted to the crime and apologized to the girl's family.
Ronca had been having sex with the girl for about a year, and told her not to tell anyone, according to arrest warrants.
The girl had the baby, which was put up for adoption. Her father said the pregnancy and Caesarean section means the victim can never enjoy her childhood again because every time she dresses she can see the stretch marks and surgical scars.
Hopefully the prison population finds out about his "alternative sexuality" and deals with him appropriately.

If he’d been a good looking female teacher who’d been impregnated by a 9 year old male student he’d have all sorts of supporters here.
I’ll bet the girl’s father had fantasies involving pruning shears or fireants.
If I was the father this story would be about my prison sentence for murder.

Something definitely wrong here too. The mental, emotional and spiritual scars should be more important. Sounds to me like this guy doesn’t really care. Hope I’m wrong.
Death by hanging would be better. Same applies to Congressional Democrats and other scum.
Twenty-five years is too long. He should only get 5 minutes...

Me too - where the hell was he when this was happening? Not to excuse the punk scumbag, of course - may he get his due reward as fresh meat in the prison he is about to enter...
Oh don’t get me wrong...I’m not ignoring the rapist’s culpability in this; I’m merely stunned by the fact that it went on for a year without the father knowing about it, even though the father is intimate enough with his daughter to know about the emotional effects of her stretch marks.

He married her at age 6 but didn't consummate the marriage until age 9.
I don't know about a 9 years old. But there is a difference between a young girl going through pregnancy and a young boy getting off. I don't think many teenage boys would be all that traumatized in having sex with a women.
ONLY 25 years!! Should have been forever.
