Oh, man....

These clowns could "appropriate" $900 trillion dollars for "border security" and it would STILL be meaningless as long as every illegal alien in this country is, upon signing of the bill, eligible for a renewable-for-life "temporary" Z visa. If we put 50 million agents on the border, they would STILL be required to instruct every illegal alien they grabbed on how to go get their renewable-for-life "temporary" Z visas.

....Unless I am misinterpreting what the critics have been saying all along.

You betcha Tom. Once the bill is passed, they write their own bill in conference, deleting here, inserting there.

They seem to think that the problem is the bill.

The problem is a lack of enforcement of the LAW, but they'll never understand that I suppose.

Deception, deception, deception. And our tax dollars pay for it all.

Expect it to pass on a midnight vote one night when nobody's around but the stinkin politicos.

Actually, it's worse than that Lancey.

According to the terms of this bill, once it passes, if an illegal is before an immigration court, all proceedings against that illegal have to be stopped dead in their tracks. He has to be provided a lawyer to help him fill out the application that makes him legal as well as fighting his deportation.

So in actuality what happens is that it sets up a system where a government paid lawyer fights a government paid court. Govt vs Govt. And our taxmoney pays for it ALL!

Is this just plain nuts or what?

Senator Arlen Specter, Republican of Pennsylvania, said the extra money could “persuade the American people and reluctant senators” to support the bill.

That's a bribe.

What a country, they extort money from us, under threat of arrest, and use it to attempt to bribe us with it.

It's the same m.o. as always, except usually the scumbag politicians confiscate our money and flat out use it to buy votes by handing it out in the form of welfare, "programs", government jobs, and all kinds of other "free stuff". When Democrats are in power, for example, they confiscate from society's producers (Republicans) and transfer it to society's parasites (Democrats).

“We have broken borders and a broken immigration system.”

The immigration system only seems "broken" because the border has been neglected - the border is not "broken". Bush and Senators need to put 4,000 of the 10,000 BP agents already signed into law in place and build the 700 miles of secured fencing already signed into law before American Patriots will believe anything but deceit is intended.

If Legislators can find "$3 billion to $5 billion to pay for the enforcement measures" of this POS bill, why is it so difficult to fund the BP agents and the fencing mandated by law in 2004 and 2006? Why is this fool's attempt to shove amnesty even necessary?

Arrogant assed Senators must think they're "leading" a country of ding wits.

I wish they'd stop trying to distract Americans as if they talking to a two-year-old.

This is a classic child molester's technique--bait the kid with a lollipop and bugger him. Bush, McCain, Kennedy, et al, are doing the sme thing so they can bugger all of America.

Tennessee Eagle Forum has issued an alert that today may be critical on the issue and to CALL your senators and say NO to amnesty.

You Tube

Reid

This week, we will vote on cloture and final passage of a comprehensive bill that will strengthen border security, bring the 12 million undocumented Americans out of the shadows, and keep our economy strong. In the days ahead, we will work to improve the bill to protect and strengthen family ties while improving the structure of the temporary-worker program.

I'm beginning to wonder if we need to wait until the next election before we throw these bums out of office? They are dealing in pure malice and deception and trying to gut this country for their own selfish political ends while making us suffer and pay for it.

What part of "NO WAY!!" is it these elitist bast@rds don't understand?

Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona, the chief Republican architect of the measure, said he and Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina, had drafted an amendment that would “significantly tighten up enforcement.”

So tell us - why is this only being proposed when the initial bill (the one that promised to make the borders secure) failed?

If this is needed to secure the border and the initial bill did not have this, doesn't that mean Bush and immigration-bill supporters were lying through their teeth about the ability of the initial bill to secure the borders?

Why wasn't this funding a pressing issue over the last few years as millions of illegals were pouring over the border? It can't be lack of money - there was always plenty of money for earmarks.

This charade shows that there was utterly no political will to secure the border. The fact that this border security funding is only being offered to jump-start the immigration bill means there will be no will to secure the border AFTER they get their shamnesty and guest worker program.

So no one should be fooled by this. Instead, we should be more pissed off than ever, given this shows the border security promises in the initial bill were an unfunded lie.
