It’s customary for a couple to make a donation to the Church that marries them, but they are not charged a fee. People with class know how much to donate. I got married at a Church in Las Vegas on a Saturday, and had to call the preacher up at home, and ask him if he would come down to the Church and marry us. He never asked for a nickle. The lady that I mentioned was a member of Schulers’ Church who attended services regularly, not somebody who dropped in off the street. He doesn’t have to charge $2500.00 to limit access. All he has to say is, I perform so many weddings a year, for members of the Church on a first come first serve basis. That limits access. And then there’s the airline incident.
