McCain hasn't won a state with more than 37.1% of the vote.

Huckabee hasn't won since Iowa.

Combined, they *barely* beat Romney by 5%.

It's time to stop the two-headed RINO!

Hard core politics and their strategy worked.

It is out in the open now, McCain and Huckabee are definitely tag teaming Romney to deny him success wherever the two of them together can do so.

That is the reality of this tough political contest and Romney will have to fight accordingly.

One potential positive for him is that most conservatives do not like the stink of backroom politics and manipulation of the vote. It may backfie on the McCain/Huckabee express...I hope it does starting today.

It's not only Romney they're cheating...it's conservatives. Our votes are expendable to them.

The sense of entitlement from the Mitt-worshipers is pathetic.

The fact is the

Anybody But Romney

faction won.

Just say NO to Massachusetts liberals!

That’s a pretty big accusation in your amended title. I doubt your source or FR would be okay with it.

What part of this do you call “cheating”? Isn’t this how caucuses generally work? It looks like most WV caucus goers didn’t want Romney. Should he have been given the win anyway?

Why don’t you ask for a recount? Maybe Romney can win in the courts what he cannot win from the voters.

You can’t cheat a person out of a win who did not win.

You have to win to win and Huckawin won!

The only thing that would disgust me more than McCain getting the nomination is McCain having Huckabilly as his running mate.

I don’t like any of ‘em.

Of the three, I dislike Huckabee least.

Between McCain and Romney, I dislike McCain less.

Romney is not entitled to any votes, and it seems completely plausible that McCain supporters might prefer Huckabee to Romney.

I don’t know of Romney getting more than 40% support in any scenario in non-Mormon states.

But, isn't Mitt the conservative?

After all, Ted likes his position on health care.

What McCain and Huck did in WVa is legal, but that doesn’t make it ethical. And while the Hucka-nuts are rejoicing over this, they’d be very upset is McCain and Romney has done the same to their candidate. (That’s what they call that there situational morality.)

A vote for Huck is a vote for McCain....

now it's irrefutable.

Something stinks in WV. For second round balloting all the original Huck and Romney voters kept with their candidate.

ALL the McCain voters went to Huck even though their candidate was still in.

Looks like Ron Paul voters went 5, 4, 1 respectively. Paul may have gone 5, 5 and 1% of McCain voters weren’t in on the game.

Either way point being that McCain voters colluded and went 100% to Huck. If McCain’s 15% had gone even 10% Huck and 5% Romney I would believe that was not colluded and self choice, but 14 or 15% (depending on what Ron Paul’s 10 did) is collusion.

The fix was in. McCain could afford to lose WV to Huck but he couldn’t afford to lose it to Romney.

Dirty yes, but legal, and why caucuses suck.

Huck supporters are all cheering and happy right now but I actually feel sorry for Huck because he is gonna get kicked to the curb by McCain when it’s all over and Huck supporters haven’t figured that out.
