I urge Republicans to vote for Hillary on March 4
2/20/08 | me, blatant vanity

Posted on 02/20/2008 12:09:03 AM PST by squidly

Hillary's campaign is obviously foundering. Only a victory in the March 4 primaries can save her. More to the point, if she wins on March 4, in Ohio and Texas, it will force a brokered Democrat Convention, and this would be the thing to throw the party into turmoil. A Hillary win in Pennsylvania on April 22 will help even more. Also on March 4 is Rhode Island and Vermont.

A brokered convention is the thing that can rip the Democrat Party apart. The Obama-maniacs would lose faith, realizing that they've been screwed, and Republicans can benefit. Then, many of them would refuse to go to the polls in November.

You may have noted that I've avoided using the term "conservative" in this post, as in conservatives defeating the Democrats or conservatives winning. There is no conservative candidate left. We have a centrist Republican, a lefty female Democrat, and a socialist male Democrat. Making another choice is throwing your vote away.

Agree, but it won’t happen. Everyone’s so excited about taking out Hillary NOW that they aren’t thinking about the possibilites of a dragged-on Democrat race.

I don't think anyone will take your advice, but I do like your thinking, right down to how we have a choice we may not like, but it is what it is. No true conservative in the race, but you can't always get what you want.

When I am looking for a burger and I've none in the fridge, I don't starve myself to death to make a useless point. I get the best thing that's available.

But enough about the Huckabee campaign... ;)

Pointless? Probably. Unethical? Surely.

First of all, the dems have been in turmoil since Bill first was elected. If you are a republican first,go ahead and vote for a dem, not much difference now anyway. If you are a conservative first, find a conservative candidate and support and promote that person.

No way.

Anyone but Hillary (and Bill) in my living room for the next four years.

I want them both to go away — by any means.

To try to push the vote for the Hildebeast may be futile. I think the momentum for Obama is too great to overcome.

Be patient. McCain will spank him so bad, he will be calling for the mothership to beam him off the planet.

No way.

You take you best shot when you got it or, a dead bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Hillary is a liberal and a known evil. Obama is a liberal.

The only thing left in our fridge is old and poisonous.

Republican "Suicide Voters" need to repeat: SCOTUS...SCOTUS...SCOTUS...

I'll repeat: "If McCain wants my vote, he must agree to only pick Supreme Court justices who will pledge to overturn McCain-Feingold." Is that what you're after?

find a conservative candidate and support and promote that person.

I'm afraid that option isn't left to us.
